"Came here one day after stumbling upon the sign on the main high street, and so glad I did. The atmosphere is so lovely and welcoming, the staff are incredibly accomodating and friendly. I'm naturally quite shy and I felt no anxiety in here. The food is tasty, the vegan options are extensive, not to mention such a good price! I decided to come back since I loved it so much and even though they were busy inside, they moved a table from outside in, just so I could avoid the tempermental weather. They went above and beyond and seem to genuinely care about what they're doing here. I cannot recommend this place enough! Cafés like this are a dying breed, it's truly a gem and probably one of my favourite little establishments I've been to in a very long time. I wish them all the success as they truly deserve it."

"Lovely staff : Got to be the nicest chip shop in Buxton and by a long shot too. Also really well priced with nice deals on. Staff were very friendly, food sorted quickly and the chips were super crispy and tasty! Won't be going anywhere else for fish and chips any time soon! :"

"Wondering if this place has changed hands in recent times? Been here a few times over the years when visiting Buxton and has always been fantastic, however visiting on Saturday, unfortunately, for all of us in our party of 6 the food was dire. The service is still brilliant (although appears to be all new staff). The atmosphere, perhaps may be due to the cold weather, but did not have that Saturday night 'thriving ' feel there has been in the past/you usually get in Italian restaurants on a busy weekend night. The food though was just not good at all, sorry to say. Previously it has been some of the best Italian food we have had, fresh, homemade, really nice pizza, pasta. The menu seemed different tonight, and the food just tasted like the bases had been bought on the pizza, the garlic bread was like ciabatta sticks but were burnt, my tagliatelle l 'd expected to be pasta tossed with Olives, Sundried tomato etc and it looks more like soggy noodle dish. My brother in law said the calamari tasted like frozen shop bought stuff, and the eggplant ravoli had the aubergine on the outside as if it had just been thrown together. Hopefully this is just a blip, perhaps the usual Chef was off work, but to me something seems to have changed, or unfortunately gone wrong."

"beautiful family atmosphere, it looked a bit like in someone's lounge from outside. the lady who ran the place was cheerful, command to take care of her beautiful baby enkelin. they were busy with rip-off jobs so that eating took a little time to arrive, but given this beautiful family the feeling that I was happy for them that they made a good deal. mostly cantonese hong kong style classic on the menu and a whole page of vegetarian options, including some somewhat unusual sauces that I had not seen before (e.g. red date and honey). eating was good, not flashy or so, but a kind of domestic feeling for it. the prices seemed very reasonable."
