The food at this restaurant is fantastic and the refurbished look is great. I can't wait to try staying in one of their rooms next time. I would rate the food, service, and atmosphere all a perfect 5 out of 5.

We were warmly welcomed for my mom's birthday and received very friendly service. The food was excellent, rated 5 out of 5, as was the service. The atmosphere was pleasant, rated 4 out of 5. We highly recommend trying the Roast Beef.

Party of 6 had Sunday lunch there. Beef was quite tough, and 2 of the group found the food to be salty. Vegetable portions were far too small. Staff and venue wonderful, warm and welcoming. Parking: Small car park at rear of pub Price per person: £30–40 Food: 3

The staff at this restaurant are lovely and accommodating. I ordered the salmon cured with rice. The dish was nice overall, but the rice was not cooked properly. For dessert, I had the apple crumble, which was hot and tasty, but the custard was runny and lacking in flavor.

Love new refurb. Bar and open kitchen are stunning, ambience warm and welcoming. Maybe sofas in one area, dining in another? Mixed in small space feels cramped. Food great. Choc/caramel tart wd be less chewy if warm. Disabled loo door sticks. But love it! Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

Cafe review Have now ended up getting a refund after I was told my order would be another 10 min after already waiting 30 Food is a small portion for a huge price. Everything they sell is overpriced and clearly priced with an extortionate mark up. Staff are nice but the female manager (wasn't able to get her name) can be seen and heard by everyone calling out demands to the rest of the staff. You are also able to hear the kitchen staff shouting singing and laughing at each other. Probably why they took 30 mins to heat up a sausage roll and make a cheese toastie. I also had to ask for my food 3 times, I only ordered a sausage roll and a cheese toastie and it's taken nearly half an hour. Atmos...
