"Fantastic all round experience. Really easy to book and reserve online, even just a day or so in advance. Atmosphere lovely staff friendly and helpful. Table ready for us, and happy for us to swap if we wanted to. Repoured a drink when weren't happy with flavour (diet coke from tap). Lovely food had Sunday roast. 2 of group had beef, 1 veggie wellington, 1 vegan nut roast. Shared cauli cheese. Great range for all. All super yum. Puddings looked great too just couldn't fit it in haha! Definitely recommend and return in the future"

quality gastropub in the heart of bristol. good selection of drinks, from local breweries to international stacking. the food is good, especially the new menu that I recommend to the wings! come with a few kumpels, get some food and be them a qualitatiw high-quality afternoon out!

beautiful cozy pub that also makes an extraordinary Sunday dinner! our party included ages from 30 to 96 years and regarding food, a celiac and a vegan. all were well maintained in terms of choice and the portion and food quality were excellent. special mention of the staff, which was excellent in terms of ease and helpfulness. this is a good option if they are in bristol and the environment is beautiful, also wandering.

We recently had Sunday roast here and everything was smooth and straightforward from reservations to ordering and the payment process. We loved the ambiance and it gave us a glimpse of what it probably have looked like in medieval times. The negroni aperitif was refreshingly delightful. The roast was delicious, and the deconstructed strawberry cheesecake was fabulous! Two thumbs up. We asked for a quiet corner and were given one. Staff was friendly, professional, and can help you with food options. Highly recommended!
