The Copper Smoke House

Visited Saturday for a birthday meal our first visit and certainly won’t be our last! Staff were lovely and welcoming, great selection of cocktails and spirits and a really good wine menu! The food was just superb!! Fabulous burgers and portion sizes are large!! Managed to squeeze dessert in too also amazing! A great restaurant well worth a visit!

Have been here several times over the last year either with my wife or in groups. The food is always lovely, very generous on portions. Pricing is good no different to similar restaurants in the area but the quality of the food is superior. Staff are always welcoming, attentive but don’t pester. Always a good sign that regardless the day you go the restaurant is always busy

We got a table last minute and the food was fantastic. My only issue is that the tables are so close to each other, that when they are cleaning the other tables in made me feel a little uncomfortable as it felt they was on top of us. Also it's difficult to have a private conversation because you are so close to each other. But not to take it away from the service and food as that was fantastic and really enjoyed the meal. We went there following the good reviews and I have to say it was one of the nicest meals we have had in a long time. They are super dog friendly and the kids meals were well portioned and delicious. I had the bees and rib combo. The meat was very well smoked and the BBQ sauce was sweet and complementary. For starters I had a back pudding scorch egg which was absolutely fantastic. My wife had pan fried chicken that was delicious and garlicy. Will be going there later this week for lunch!

Me and my family booked an evening dinner at the smokehouse for myself , my partner and the 2 children, the lady at the bar welcomed us in and was really nice and super friendly . The food was delicious and she informed us everything from the menu was made fresh in the kitchen on the day, even the bread buns for the burgers. After a little bit of talking with the owner she told us they are always fully booked 60+ people for lunch and the same for the evening dinner which says it all really Would definitely visit again.

I can't recommend this restaurant highly enough! We visited for Sunday lunch, and it was fantastic! The food was incredible, the portions were generous, and the value at £23 for two courses was exceptional. The staff were all very friendly. We brought our dog along, and they were extremely accommodating, providing us with water, a blanket, and treats for our furry friend. The only “complaint” we have is that there was so much delicious food that we were too full to try dessert, but we will definitely return to sample that another time! Speisekarte ansehen

I visited the restaurant yesterday as a walk-in around 5 PM and was fortunate to get a table since they were fully booked later on. The brisket I had was the best I've ever tasted! The sides of beans, coleslaw, and fries were also delicious. I have a hearty appetite, but this meal really challenged me. I brought my 12-year-old grandson, who ordered the adult chicken burger topped with pulled chicken. He thought it was amazing, but there was no way he could finish it all. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the restaurant had a lovely, polished atmosphere. I absolutely loved it!

I visited Copper Smokehouse on Sunday with my girlfriend for our first time, and it certainly won't be our last. I can't recommend it highly enough! The food was amazing, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. Paula, in particular, was fantastic—very personable and knowledgeable about the menu. She even suggested a few places for us to check out afterward, as it was our first visit to the area. The smoked turkey and the smoked gravy were the highlights! The portions were quite generous; we had to take some home because we couldn't finish it all. Thank you for a wonderful experience! We will definitely be back soon!

We had a tasty lunch today. We shared some salt n pepper chicken wings they were delicious. I had a cheese and bacon burger which was OK, the bun was very chewy and the burger wasn’t to my taste, it wasn’t meaty enough. The corn on the cob and coleslaw which my husband let me have from his meal were really good and our fries were perfect. My husband said his brisket was tasty but there was a bit too much treacle sauce, it would be better if the extra sauce came in a pot, allowing a person to add more if needed. We left just enough room for the banana bread toffee pudding, the tinder yummy and the rum n raisin ice cream was excellent. The service was very good and we would dine there again.
