tonight for dinner, i.e. 16-Aug-18 with dale david. nice n cozy place. the stuart was very good looking: beautiful interieur. good eating. I ordered roasted bun.

A 19th birthday celebration meal eaten in beautiful surroundings. Wonderful food and friendly service by Katie. I would highly recommend it and will comeback again. Thank you, Katie, for your smile and extra spoon

Quite liked the new menu, had the beef rib which was good. The potatoes lyonnaise were excellent. Mushroom and cheese side was not cheesy enough for my taste, quite indifferent. Overall, nice experience and service.

wow had the most amazing lunch at the cowherds! it is such a beautiful little place with amazing eating and a few pints going down great! would recommend it to anyone who wasn't. I had the brie and bacon sandwich, that looks like a burger, but okay!

Love visiting this place. A short walk away for us, but often lots of parking round the back. The service is really friendly and fast. The food is always delicious with decent portion sizing Personally I love the atmosphere in here. Nice and relaxed, and away from the business of the city. Also recommend a short stroll into the common after to let your food go down.

Visited today for a roast dinner. Food was incredible. We had starter, main and pudding and everything was fantastic! The service was brilliant, food came out quickly and the staff were really on it. We had a lovely table near the window at the front with our little doggy . They have doggy treats, water bowls and blankets for the dogs! We will definitely be returning soon.

A really lovely pub/restaurant, good British hospitality. We were travelling in the area and needed some refreshment, we decided to stop here. We received a very warm welcome and shown were we could sit. We ordered a small breakfast with coffee. It arrived very quickly and was excellent. Served hot and fresh very tasty. We will be in the area again in a couple of weeks and will be sure to call in.

this place is simply amazing! everything was excellent, eating, ambiente, service and obviously good firma as well, so it was a perfect dinner we spent together. the whole place is equipped with vintage interior and equipment. when we came to eat, we ordered the fish-fishing tray, which had a good amount of tinted fish, baby puwns, cadjau and salmon with little salat, and for the main course we had smoked squid cake. overall good eating: soothing ambiente: vintage themen: good eating: too expensive.

Visited the Cowherds for dinner this evening after having been a few times for drinks. I ordered the seabass special and my partner the steak and we absolutely loved it! We followed with creme brulee for dessert and again was lovely. Our server Yasmin was very friendly and attentive and made our experience amazing, I actually accidently tipped Yasmin only instead of the intended when paying so I apologise for that, will just have to tip more on our next visit as we will definitely be coming back again to dine and drink!
