Beautiful spacious pub. We had a table outside on a sunny day and it was a relaxing place to hang out. Beef rendang curry with rice hit the spot. Children’s portion of fish fingers and chips. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

We were a large party for Sunday lunch, and the service was great. Menu is lovely (several roast options) and outside play area for kids. Dog friendly and staff even brought a water bowl for them. Visited again 1 year later as very central for a family meet-up. Staff were great, the food was delicious so likely we'll pick this pub again next year Speisekarte ansehen

Having known this pub since the early sixties and created countless wonderful memories there, it was the perfect choice for lunch with an old school friend. It did not disappoint. Everything about it was excellent: the food and beer were great, and the service was exceptionally good and welcoming. We will definitely be returning for our mini reunions. A big thank you to the amazing team for providing us with such a wonderful experience!

The restaurant offers a beautiful setting and great amenities for both kids and adults, but unfortunately, things took a turn from there. Our reservation wasn’t recorded, and we were placed at a table on the porch, which wasn’t ideal. Our server was very pleasant and did his best to make the experience more enjoyable. However, the food was disappointing. It lacked flavor, especially the peri peri chicken, which was dry, covered in an unappetizing orange sauce, and difficult to eat. The restaurant has great potential, but the menu definitely needs to be revised; it just isn’t worth the prices they charge. Speisekarte ansehen
