What a splendid pub. A choice of a cosy bar/ dining facilities indoors or a heated outdoors marquee next to the extensive children’s play area. Friendly welcome from the staff, well cooked and sensibly priced dining and a good range of beers. Highly recommended.

Attended my niece's wedding on April 15th.Very impressed with the all round service by the bar and waiting staff,nothing was too much trouble and they were very welcoming.Plus the location is ideal for weddings,live music or just to enjoy the surroundings! Would recommend.

A group of friends met here for lunch, we had pre-booked a table and were seated on a group of unmatched tables (some higher than others right in front of the mens toilets. So each time a man went in to use the facilities we got a full view of the porcelain and a full whiff of bathroom smells. Not a great accompaniment for lunch. Our order was taken at the table and the server was pretty good though she wasn't able to answer every question. I got the impression she hadn't worked there long and only had limited training.
