Visited the hostelry on Saturday, The Beer was excellent, the architecture was interesting, the staff were dismal, uninterested and almost surly, possibly because the management were absent. There are plenty of other pubs selling the same quality beer, I will be using those in the future. Location: 5

Food OK. But it was not as good as it was, also prices have escalated. I'm all for assistance animals being allowed into eateries. But really, why allow dogs that not assistance animals into these places that roam around begging for food and general being a nuisance and where food is consumed? I feel this is unacceptable.

I going to start by saying I have never stayed there but I love the food . The crown has a large menu but not a wide selection of items everything is great though but wouldn't go of you were a vegan . The food does take a while to cook though and any group larger than 4 will take at least half an hour to cook Service: 5 Location: 4
