we stumbled on this beautiful hidden gem by chance, which is a beautiful surprise! the food was wonderful, and the staff very friendly and welcoming. the back garden has a magical feeling. try banana cream glasses!

Local pub, pleasantly busy all afternoon on our visit. Hot food at set hours but rolls and pub snacks from the bar. Real ale as well as more mundane drinks, both alcoholic and soft. Free wifi. Dogs welcome. Nice garden.

What a wonderful surprise it was to discover this gem thanks to my GPS on a free day. The atmosphere is beautiful, relaxed, and friendly. Meeting Rosie, the miniature pony, was an unexpected delight! The locals also recommended some great dishes. A big thank you to Craig and his team for guiding me back to the M5 for my journey to Cornwall. I will definitely be back!

Landed from Berlin and within an hour we were tucking into ham, egg and chips £13) and fish pie at the Crown. Exceedingly friendly, can do manner from the bar staff and thd food was plentiful and tasty. My only comment would be that the plate for the ham, egg and chips was cold. Overall, there was a very nice atmosphere and a pub I would return to. Price per person: £10–20

What a fantastic discovery! This charming pub features a delightful garden, welcoming staff, and a hearty Sunday roast that I've enjoyed three times now. It's far superior to other pub roasts in the area, with plenty of extras included at a reasonable price. While I haven't tried the dessert yet, I'm definitely drawn to the gin and tonic cheesecake.
