I went with my friend .we had a delicious meal the staff were wonderful friendly.will definitely be going back soon.a very good choice of dishes.

I would totally recommend the Crown and Anchor for food and a fun atmosphere at the weekend. It was happy hour until 11pm too which was a bonus. The staff were so attentive and really friendly. We will definitely be coming back next year for our works party.

We had a fantastic experience with our family at this restaurant. The food was delicious, the staff was friendly, and the manager was exceptional in assisting us with menu choices for a few picky eaters in our group. First time visiting this pub. The sea bass was absolutely superb and beautifully presented. My wife had the chicken curry which was also delicious. The homemade chocolate brownie with custard was a nice treat. The staff were friendly, and overall we really enjoyed our visit. Will definitely come back here when visiting Stone.

My partner and I came here for a meal and we thoroughly enjoyed it. We arrived and got seated, drinks order taken. Then a few moments later our food order was taken. Within 10 mins the food arrived, piping hot, perfectly cooked, and the waiting staff were excellent. We would defo come here again if in the area (we are from Exeter).

Just going out for a drink and a dance with friends, a group of young people trying to cause trouble all night, making comments, tipping drinks and the bouncers watched and did nothing. Got my bag stolen and the manager has not called back to check the cctv! Will not be going again and wouldn’t advise if your after a trouble free night! Speisekarte ansehen

Tried this place out as we were in Stone. First impressions it's a nice clean pub. Friendly staff and a choice of largers. No real beer is a downside. We ordered the park belly and the baked camembert with ciabatta. Both meals were nice. The gravy on the pork belly was delicious but was not very hot as our meals had been standing and the service bell had rung twice before we got them. The toilets are lovely but the tiling is very poor. Overall a decent place to eat but a very limited menu. We would eat here again.

Pre-COVID this was our favourite place in town for a quick meal out. The menu was large, lots of choice, and everything perfectly cooked and served, the fish and chips was amazing . Often took grandchildren there as very family friendly. Went for a meal last week, just us 2 in the whole pub. The menu is very small, so we both choose burgers, the beef burger was like a piece of shoe leather, thin, gristly and overcooked. The chicken was slightly better, but still overcooked and dry. What a disappointment. Shall not be going back.

We visited stone last weekend and decided to go into the crown and anchor for a drink. From the outside it looked well presented with a lovely thatch roof however green sick on the pavement outside. Inside was a completely different story. The floor was absolutely filthy and sticky, tables were sticky and dirty. Toilets were filthy, water everywhere, urine on the toilet seats, toilet roll on the floor, I felt like I needed to wash my hands after coming out! When we went in we were one of about 4 couples inside. Shortly after arriving a large group of people who were very intoxicated, shouting, singing and swearing came into the pub.
