"We had my mother 80 tonight. they could no longer be accommodating that we could set up the room an hour before the arrival of mama. the food......absolutely brilliant! my chicken supernatant was from this world, so thank you to the cook. all 17 of us had a wonderful meal with bread and garlic bread to give us that we didn't even know about it. the waitresses were flat, but still hard to take care of us very well. we helped them to clear our tellers to another table near the door to facilitate their lives. Even when we arrived to set up, she immediately asked if we wanted a drink. brilliant! mama had such a great time and thanks crown for what you did. we all loved it. 10/10"

Visited last month and had a nice meal! My only complaint would be the service was slightly slow but the atmosphere and feel of the pub was lovely so it wasn’t too bad waiting a whole. Food was worth it in the end!Will visit again soon! Speisekarte ansehen

Booked 2 days before as visiting family last minute plans. Sunday Roast was very nicely presented with a good selection of vegetables gravy and condiments. We had 2 courses the Lemon Meringue wasn't up to standard as the meringue was like mallow. However the Creme Brulé was gorgeous. Will go back just not for meringue!

around 7 o'clock for my birthday meal...ordered chicken-hopreme and cattle-bourgogne...what an experience. huh over £17.99 uncooked served in a pork pan, bark served in the smallest plate £18. where do they think they can get away with this safe, people need to know that they are torn off. very unfriendly and could not wait to get out.

We had a wonderful dining experience at this restaurant. The meal was delicious and the prices were very reasonable. The service was top-notch and the atmosphere was perfect for a quiet evening. We visited on a Tuesday and found it to be a great choice. The cost per person was between £20 and £30. Overall, we rated the food and service 5 out of 5, and the atmosphere a 4 out of 5. Great pub, atmosphere and ambiance. 100% unpretentious. We have been here countless times in fact we've just come back from Sunday lunch yet again !!!. All the food (not forgetting the wine) we have had here have been amazing, we are just sooo glad they haven't got rooms because we would end up living there although we only live 5 miles away. So a massive thank you to Wil and all the team you are all very welcoming and attentive. Ian Jo

Just marvellous. Unpretentious and welcoming (but still smart and well presented). This place is a joy to go to. Accommodating for families, easygoing, professional. Staff were friendly. Prices were good. Local beer delicious… But the food?! My goodness. So hearty. Great range on the menu. Satisfying. Flavoursome. Well presented. The gentleman I met who runs the kitchen appears to be a modest fellow. He is a superstar. Our favourite pub/restaurant to eat in on a Norfolk holiday. Thank you team.
