The Crown Inn - Speisekarte

Found this lovely pub while out on a walk on a beautiful perfect sunny day had some lovely food and drinks outside. Just Perfect.

Great atmosphere and the staff were really on the ball. Greeted on entry and quickly seated with drinks. Food was exceptional. A lovely country pub.

The Crown Inn is a traditional rustic cotswold pub/inn with good tasty beer and honest quality food. On the day we both had the fish chips, although the portions were not large the food was very good. We sat outside and it was great,...however, I would like to return on another day and have a two or three course dinner inside.

After not visiting for a few years, I was excited for the evening. However, my experience was ruined by a disruptive group of loud donors and their three dogs. Their behavior was almost unbearable. A lovely couple from the Cranon also complained about the increased food prices and decreased quality. I was disappointed and do not plan on returning anytime soon.

This boutique hotel is fantastic with a lovely pub and stunning outdoor terrace. The service is very attentive, and the included breakfast is very good. The room size is beautiful, with a very good bathroom. Everything is very clean, and there are delicious cookies in the room. Parking is comfortable, and the view is beautiful. Such a lovely place, in a lovely location with lovely staff. This was just an overnight stay to catch up with friends from Stoke-on-Trent, as they were staying for 4 nights. We had a wonderful catch up, fantastic meal, a few light libations and a...good nights sleep followed by a great breakfast. Yes, not everyhting is to everyone's tatse or preference, but go with the flow, this is just a LOVELY place!

The old country pub is quite beautiful with friendly staff, but unfortunately the food did not meet expectations. I ordered the fish and chips, but was disappointed to find that the chips were pale and needed to be fried longer for a crispier texture. The fish lacked flavor and the side of peas were dry and not appetizing. The price was also on the higher side for the portion size I had to leave behind uneaten.

when we had booked two weeks in a nearby holiday home, we had high hopes on the krone. on the second day we decided to go to lunch and hope that it will be “our place”. we felt that we had the jackpot with this precious stone of. have won a place. great eating, friendly quick service, wonderful ambiente (the fire is estimated to be a cool, early-lingday). we repeated visit five or six times, sometimes on a walk, enjoy lunch and Sunday roast. nice large parking space, for one day we drove. we have the fish and chips, sole, burger and for Sunday the blackbows. all delicious, as well as desserts. beautiful local with view. beautiful beer garden.
