Lovely very quaint little place, very accommodating I have 4 dogs a toddler and a 6mth baby with me and they fitted us in and nothing was a problem. The food was good a little high in price but its a country pub in middle of a tiny town.

Absolutely stunning place, very warm and welcoming, had a fantastic meal that was so delicious! Great tasting wine and very very lovely people who work there! Can’t say enough good things! Disappointing ... We’ve had some very good lunches at The Crows Nest, but today we ordered some of the same dishes and the food was very disappointing. Presumably there was a different person in the kitchen ... certainly the experience was altogether different. A shame as this is generally a very nice pub, and the front-of-house staff have always been very welcoming. Food: 2 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5

If I could give less than one star I would. Menu not even close to the one advertised. We waited 45 minutes for a tough steak that only one of our party of 3 could chew. That would be 2 adults and a dog. I took the time to stop by and personally make a reservation and pointed out that it would be a birthday meal for my partner .I paid over £70 for a ghastly meal. Please save your money and eat elsewhere.

Turned up no notice on a wet December day with a toddler and coeliac in tow. Served promptly, courteously, and most importantly some of the tastiest pub food we have eaten in a long while.
