Another great experience all round. Friendly, efficient and attentive staff. Excellent local produce, expertly prepared and presented beautifully. We can’t recommend The Dairy highly enough. We’ve visited with different family members twice now, and will be back soon!

Visited the Dairy for a late lunch, weather was rubbish but the welcome was warm. I had the lamb shoulder which was beautiful, well presented and delicious. My wife had the chicken wrap which she loved. Maud's ice-cream (local brand) and waffle with a lovely coffee. The staff are lovely and a credit to the establishment. Speisekarte ansehen

We were disappointed on a previous visit to this place but decided to give it a second chance. I'm glad we did as the service has greatly improved and the food was thoughtfully presented with nice flavours. The only negative was the wooded chairs which consisted of wooden slats with small gaps between. Most uncomfortable seats ever, maybe some padding with help.

Called over on the off chace of a table. packed for a tuesday lunch time. We were asked to wait for 15 minutes and they went out of their way to accommodate us. i’m delighted they did, food was amazing as was the service,a real gem, a recommendation from a local and an excellent recommendation it was. The Chicken goujons were amazing battered fresh in house I had the Bao Buns delicious

That was the worst lunch experience we have ever had. Im not going to go into it all as there was to many issue so ill list them Served warm beer, 20 min before ordered, cold pate severed on warm plates, 1.25 minutes before main came, all meat dishes were tough and could not be eaten. One meal hadn’t even been started as service forgot about it, salad served in warm dish. The restaurant wasnt ever busy it was like we got the remain of the early service. Speisekarte ansehen

Our first visit to The Dairy. It had been recommended by a friend and we were not disappointed. We’ve had breakfast at many establishments but this was definitely one of the best we’ve ever had. Quality cooking and delicious local food. We bought some takeaway cakes which were fabulous. The farm shop is great and we bought a few little treats. There is some outdoor seating which is a great option. My family (who live locally) will be regulars, It will now be our go to place for breakfast!!!

On a recommendation we stopped for lunch. Plenty of car parking on a level site. We had booked ahead as it was Friday and the restaurant was busy. The entrance to the restaurant is through the shop which has a butchery counter, the shop itself is beautifully set out with lots of ideas for that little something that you cannot buy elsewhere! Thinking of Christmas presents already!! We were quickly shown to our table which was outside under a covered area as it was not cold this was completely acceptable. We had trouble choosing from the extensive menu. Our order was taken after a reasonable amount of time and the food arrived within 30 mins, which was acceptable given how busy it was. I can h...

Sunday lunch but not what I expected in terms of flavour, quality or service. Order taken 15 mins after sitting down .We waited another 40-45 mins before the food arrived . My meal of lamb was look warn, looked as if it had been sitting a while as there was a crust on the mash and sauce had a top on it. My friends fish was overcooked, in a greasy batter with soggy chips. We waited for the waitress to come back to ask if all ok, in the end my friend took her fish back to the counter. The replacement was 5 mins coming back with no side of sauce and peas /lemon and not even an apology or a new knife and fork. So why did it take 40mins in the first place?
