The Diner Spitalfields

I asked if it was possible to have a vegan hot dog, although this was not on the menu and they were able to make this for me! other options clearly marked.

Vegan options are still lovely. Partner said the bun was a little stale but otherwise vegan burger was very good. Very affordable given London. Options are however reduced, this may be due to COVID 19? Speisekarte ansehen

I always visit The Diner when I’m in London, the staff is great, the portions are huge and the flavours amazing! I especially recommend the Mac n cheese, seitan and waffles and the peanut butter milkshake!

Really looked forward to going here again after an amazing breakfast a couple of years ago. Sadly now there are very limited options on the main menu but what I did have was delicious, one of the best mac n cheese I've had

I went here to the diner and soho (now closed) and the separate vegan menu was so frightening that it was my fave in the city and I was a more regular. now menu points are reduced and the choice has much smaller taste is no longer amazing. the diner has potential I hope only that they will use more in the future. What a gem! Spacious place serving breakfast and junk food in huge portions. A really nice vegan menu and a friendly attentive staff. We had a lovely version of eggs Benedict full of flavour and the best vegan macaroni and cheese, perfectly junky and comforting! We also had the pancakes, that were really huge but quite dry adding vegan butter would be appreciated.

I loved the diner, I would order the departure from the Soho industry, and I remember that there was a great variety and it always tastes good. I was disappointed that this is no longer the case. it has been for a few years since I last went, and I'm sorry to say that I really didn't like eating. I have the vegan strawberry and chocolate pancakes, and the pancakes were really dirty. a thing that I really enjoy was the vegan erdnus butter milkshake though! the staff was also very friendly. updated by previous review on 2022-01-21

They are not offering a dedicated vegan menu at the moment, and only have a few items on the menu (pancakes, burger, cheesy fries and macaroni cheese). My partner and I both ordered pancakes, which looked amazing, but smelt a little odd, like sour and like hot damp. Still tried them, but had to spit them out so sour and awful tasting! Told the waitress who spoke to the chefs, I suggested whatever the used might be off, such as soy milk, but they insisted that's they're usual recipe and nothing was wrong with them. They took them back and we didn't pay for them, and left, but still has to pay for the OJ which I wasn't impressed by, as that could have been free as a gesture of goodwill. Speisekarte ansehen
