on Sunday dinner there was a great improvement when we arrived at the piting day. friendly welcome served in good time eating beautiful and service excellent. would have saved 5 stars for eating, but could have been hotter. except a nice lunch.

We enjoyed sitting outside on the elevated deck, soaking up the sunshine while our kids played in the orchard below. As always, the food and service were excellent. We love visiting the Dormouse because the staff are friendly and attentive, and the food is consistently delicious.

Have visited the dormouse on many occasions and the decor and atmosphere and easy parking make it attractive. However I have found that the service has got slower and quality of food deteriorated . 2 of the 3 meals we had were over cooked the hunters chicken both the chicken and gammon which has replaced the bacon) were dry and tough

I visited for Sunday lunch and noticed a significant improvement compared to our visit on Boxing Day. We received a friendly welcome, the food was served promptly, and everything was delicious with excellent service. I would have given a five-star rating for the food, but it could have been served hotter. Other than that, it was a lovely lunch overall.
