"We visited this establishment with high expectations. Whilst the decor was lovely the food and price not so. I ordered a pie and my husband ordered the fish pie. My steak and ale pie was ok but the rest was rather a disappointment. For the cost I’d expect more than just a pie, the smallest scoop of mash ever, and a few hard carrots. Let’s not forget the thimble sized gravy you get. As for my husbands fish pie it had potential but the fish in the middle was stone cold. And to top its off the hidden £7 service charge. Which we didn’t know was optional at the time but they don’t like to advertise that. Small piece of advice remove the service charge and allow people to tip what they feel is the correct amount."

"I have booked for Sunday short for 25 people after a positive experience at the weekend. every dish I tried was amazing, the menu was easy to read, they had quality beer on the draught ie cobra and estrella and location scenery was very relaxing in the marina with plentiful parking. an Indian gloom I tried everything, but was pleasantly surprised by the secret twist to the aromes I had never experienced. great service of callum and beth. nothing was too much annoyed, each request was filled with a smile and one yes I can what is especially commendable when there was a big party to keep happy. each person went with an unforgettable culinary experience."

"Lovely pub and restaurant in beautiful location. By far the best restaurant food served in the area at very reasonable prices.The Bespoke Inn chain has other restaurants, but the kitchen at The Boot continues to impress time after time by always being able to provide cuisine offering delicate textures, amazing flavours and top professional presentation.If you ever have the chance, it's not one to miss! There is a microbrewery on site served in the bar and accommodation on property too."

"What can i say the food was excellent with plenty of it, cooked to perfection. Hats off to the chef they did a sterling job. However, when i visited there wasn't a great choice of beers on draught. I was only able to pick a pint of lager because that's all they had, poor really for a public house. You had to order your drink at the table rather that at the bar , which i thought was rather strange.If they stocked a few more beers then they could tap into the late evening drinks market which is thriving in Repton but perhaps they don't want too. By 9pm the pub was like a ghost town. Everyone who had been eating had moved on to other drinking establishments or had gone home due to the poor atmosphere. The decor was also a bit tired and slightly drab.If they redecorated the interior of the inn and offered a few more draught beers, i'm sure this place would go from strength to strength. That said the food made up for the negative points i have outlined. I would have no problem recommending this establishment if you wanted to sit down and have a good meal, you won't regret it. Give it a try and see what you think? Make sure you book in advance because if you just turn up your likely to be turned away. Sadly that happened to some poor chap who strolled in and took pot luck."

"what a sound! our first time here and we will definitely come back! we have booked a table.(It was busy! . it was in the garden room restaurant that was upstairs and super pretty with this beautiful faux blossom tree and twinkly lighter in the deck. there they also called longhorn, which was down but cannot comment on the equipment! they have a great choice of drinks and eating was wonderful. I had the sirloin steak and the confit of garlic was that he had the pit burger my eating partner loved so chips were fantastic! the service was great, very friendly and attentive. had a really nice time and will definitely be back, can not wait to try the pizza they saw yummy!"
