"this place found on happycow and ordered the power shelves with additional vegan meat strips (loved that this is a standard extra! . the aromen were absolutely amazing, one of the best meal times I have ever eaten. also the vegan ice cream selection that I had later was delicious. our server, jasmine, was very friendly and the decor alive. the predominant majority of the whole food drink is produced locally and it is all marked on the local map, which additionally as a beverage menu (on the back and poster. I had no, but I offered the good choice of vegan lattes. they have so much choice. the only part was how busy it was. If you're in the opposite, just go! you will not regret it!"

"I ordered the duck, as well as a lazy and orange spring roll for a starter. Both were fantastic, and I loved the combination of seasoned and citrus flavors. For the main course, I had the pork chop from the specials menu, which was also very good, complemented by a delicious mixed berry cheesecake for dessert. Unfortunately, my partner wasn’t as satisfied with her meal. She found the halloumi burger to be mediocre, and the chips were slightly undercooked. The apple crumble she ordered had more crumble than apple and also fell flat, coming across as just average. It seemed like the waiting staff lost their energy around 8:45 PM, as their service became less attentive as the night went on. Overall, it was a tale of two dining experiences: one excellent and the other less so. The ambiance in the tent area was wonderful, but the service could have been better towards the end of our meal."

"Food was excellent, every dish was enjoyed. Service was poor. Started off well but after the starters were put on the table service took a noticeable down turn. Had to call over for drinks to which the waitress started walking off after one drink was said. After mains were finished, dishes just stayed on the table, could see wait staff just hanging around or doing remedial jobs like drying glasses. After maybe 40 minutes from finishing our mains, we'd had enough and asked for the bill. By then we still had most of our dishes still on the table and never got asked if we wanted dessert. Wait staff seem young and inexperienced, restaurant didn't seem particularly busy for a Saturday night."

"Absolute disgusting treatment from the staff. We had a booking for 12 people including 7 children for a family meal before xmas, apparently a fake pot plant got knocked over so the staff stopped serving us at 8:30 and throw the plant across the bar area in a temper, we spent a lot of money there to be treated so disgusting. This is clearly not a family friendly place to take your children as you are treated so poorly. I would not recommend for a family or children or infact a group meal. Disgusting staff and treatment."

"The George Inn has now become my new favourite summer pub to visit, staff and location make the place what it is... fantastic. Old English low beams and MIND YOUR HEAD rustic character. Kids play area, In or out door dining with a nice selection of food options, Great pizza and all cooked fresh. I love a nice bit of any think turkish when it comes to catching a bite or a meal out and I was please to see a few nice options. Friendly bar staff at the bar under the big top tent and was very helpful and proactive, my visit was on the 1st June 2022 and my overall experience was exceptional. Service was excellent. Food wait time excellent. Food quality excellent. I have no trouble pointing out faults and if any thing I do look for the negative when I eat out. Kitchen was clean, tidy, chef had no trouble dealing with my odd olive request. Fantastic little gem. I recommend that you visit and I hope you have a nice pleasant experience like I had."
