"Called in on my own as the pub down the road that I walked to was closed. What a little gem. The staff are so friendly and can't do enough. Had a beef roast, which was great. This is nothing against the pub but to the customers who go, I was quietly sat outside until a large Australian family arrived with kids. Please remember this is a restaurant, not a playground. Allowing your children to scream and run riot outside is not a great experience for other guests. I will definitely be back to this pub and highly recommend."

Went with my husband for dinner and was really pleasantly surprised. Not been before. The food was lovely, obviously all homemade. Great service, very attentive. Would recommend.

Delicious Sunday lunch with friends (and 2 dogs). Made to feel very welcome and looked after. Every dish was perfect, and we are all very critical! Thank you for your hospitality and amazing food. We will definitely be back.

I went to The Duke for Sunday lunch yesterday and it was fantastic. We ordered two servings of slow-roasted pork belly and one of roast beef, and every dish was delicious. The roast potatoes were especially outstanding, exceeding my expectations. It's rare to find roasties as good as these in restaurants. We will definitely be returning. The service and desserts were also excellent.

We felt very welcomed from the moment we arrived at the restaurant. We began our evening in the cozy beer garden before moving inside to a charming interior. The food we enjoyed was excellent, starting with the delicious Mac and Cheese Croquettes and culminating in the outstanding Chicken Supreme with a flavorful chicken jus. The ambiance was lovely, the food was fantastic, and the staff were exceptional. Overall, a wonderful dining experience.

I made a reservation online for Sunday lunch. Booking was simple for 2pm on Sunday. The restaurant had a spacious car park which made parking a breeze. The staff greeted us warmly and we enjoyed a delicious roast dinner. Even though it wasn't on the menu, we were offered a choice of half roast beef and half roast pork. The portions were generous with plenty of vegetables. The desserts were also fantastic. The staff were very pleasant and welcoming. Overall, it was a great dining experience.
