16 people came to a rural village pub with no issues! The food was excellent, the service was friendly, and I would happily return any time. Fantastic experience.

I took my parents out for a meal today. The staff were very friendly and attentive, even bringing us a heater when we mentioned we were a bit cold. The food was delicious, freshly cooked, and beautifully presented. We will definitely be returning.

We were very impressed with the sunday carvery as it was all lovely and fresh with a great choice of meat (gammon. Beef,Turkey) and about 10 different vegetables to choose from, . A very nice friendly atmosphere and lovely staff. We will Definately be going back. Speisekarte ansehen

Took my mum (85) for Sunday lunch and the Carvery was excellent Good choice of vegetables and the beef was medium (which is so often not the case) Service was friendly and efficient! Food very tasty Apple crumble a bit powdery and apples a bit hard but custard was delicious

We parked our camper van in their decent size car park and had a meal. As a vegetarian I was very pleasantly surprised at the range of dishes on offer really good for a pub very friendly and cosy style of pub full of friendly locals. Very reasonable and perfect for our stop over. Thanks.

The sun was shining probably for the last time in 2021 and we fancied sitting outside so called and they managed to accommodate us Those who know the pub know it has a huge garden Had lovely drinks, great service from the proprietors and dinner. I made a reservation for 12 people and was disappointed when I arrived after driving 50 miles in 35 degree heat to find out that the kitchen was too hot to cook. My bakery operates 24 hours a day in all temperatures, so I don't understand why this restaurant couldn't handle the heat. It's no wonder the place looks like it's failing. Overall, I was very disappointed with my experience.

We had our Christening here today and it was perfect. Great atmosphere, family friendly pub. The staff were all so welcoming and friendly, could not of asked for anything more from them. The food was amazing, such good quality and well priced for a 40 person buffet. A great venue for families with children, we were able to let the kids run around and have fun whilst the adults enjoyed the beet garden. Would 100% recommend and will be visiting again! We had great correspondence with Wendy and Pat and the rest of the team were fabulous on the day! Our compliments to the chef for putting on such a great spread.

Without a doubt, I was served the worst food I have ever tried in my life. Ordered hunters chicken. Served dry bacon completely covered with awful cheap melted cheese and a thin, small sliver of chicken breast that was entirely tasteless. Did not eat more than a couple mouthfuls. Tried again with the chicken curry. Tasteless, chicken was chewy, seemed entirely microwaved; terrible. Couldn’t eat it. If I had. I may have been ill as the chicken wasn’t even cooked/microwaved properly. Been to hundreds of pubs, this was the first time I left without being fed. Even the diet coke had an unusual aftertaste to it, but I didn’t feel it was worth mentioning that, given the more immediate issue being... Speisekarte ansehen
