Stopped for a drink after dinner. Beer was good and the staff were really warm, friendly and entertaining. Would definitely come back.

we had a nice meal here, the service was good, we were somewhat longer between the curses than convenient, but fun had all the same. my Co.Palint is really the anesthetic, so much could be done to improve the ambiente that does not...

After having been to the eagle several times in the past for beautiful meal times, I must say that I was very disappointed at the hühnerburger meal I had this evening, there was nothing special about it, at all just a round of it. mill sweet brioche bungalow with a chewing couple pieces huh in him with a rkjn lettuce .... do not think that will come back soon ....

The Eagle was recommended for Sunday lunch, came to visit family so went on recommendation. Only option was a roast. Food came out very cold and had to be heated up, vegetable selection not great, hardly any gravy, asked for some more and was told...there wasn’t any more available! Yorkshire puddings were very overcooked. Staff seemed quite unhappy. Would not go again.

this place was recommended to us, but not really just the expectations. the service was very slow, half an hour was the waiting time before we asked for our order and it wasn't exactly heaving. even then we had to ask for order. to be fair, my steak was beautiful, but the skin-brewing fires were hard. also the burger of my other half was not great. We're not from here, but we're not going to come back while we're here.

we have booked a table for a Friday evening in august and greeted at the arrival. our table was very clean and beautiful laid. the menu and the wine list included a series of welcome options; we chose a mixed wine from portugal that was delicious. our orders were taken over and served immediately. I have skipped a starter to leave room for dessert, panna cotta seen on the special dessert menu. great! they would come back if we visited norwich.

Awful. Previously we've had steak and it was exceptional but heard the other day the chef left and was replaced this week with a new chef. We had a Sunday Roast, I had pork, my partner had the beef and there was nothing nice about...it. There was no flavour, the yorkies, although looked impressive, were bland, the roasties we stodgy, the gravy was thin and flavourless and all the vegetables were rock hard and barely cooked. The crackling was like rubber and the loins clearly reheated. We will not eat there again.

we enjoyed a beautiful family dinner at the eagle after taking the children for a special afternoon to meet vater christmas. there were 10 adults and 3 children and everyone agreed how nice it was to eat. my man, who sees himself as a bit a hamburger knower, said it was the best burger he had for a long time in a pub or restaurant! and from him, that is highly praised. I enjoyed the halloumi salat with a lateral part of the chips. I think the eagle makes the best chips! my children both enjoyed the children cheeseburger and pommes, which was a very generous portion size. the eagle has recently been tastefully renovated and has a pleasant ambiente. the staff behind the bar is friendly and helpful. but the eating experience I had was just terrible. I ordered white-bait to begin. the amount of the portions could have 3 people alone...1 satisfied and were the size of the large sardines. but ok my daughter ordered the steak discs in broth rolls with chips. this time eating was cold and the little bite was so humble it was sweating. I had the broken fish that was good, but again, came with a huge part of rugged chips, but no fresh vege. The menu offer is quite modest, so you would expect the cook to cook with skill and finesse. this was typical pub grub I'm sorry,...
