"Came for the first time for a family meal and was impressed, although all staff I saw was young they was all polite and in good spirits which is refreshing and very nice to see as in most places look like they can’t be bothered to be there. Food was lovely although burgers abit dry. Was slightly on the expensive side but for a treat we didn’t mind as food was nice and service spot on. However, I did have a couple of gins which I asked for no ice and both times came with ice but we was a big table and staff did seem busy so didn’t mention it. Would recommend!"

"Been here twice now and had a fantastic experience both times. First time my large cooked breakfast came really well presented and great value for money. Second time took my 5 year old (which I was dreading) however the waitress was excellent, bringing over crayons and a picture to colour to keep him entertained. Made a huge effort asking him what santa was bringing. My chocolate Sacher cake and homemade Rocky Road was to die for. So many little details making the place stand out. Can't praise the Christopher's enough for bringing another brilliant local business to Bolsover. xxx"

"Food is usually amazing, we had brought family for Father’s Day and have to say it was really disappointing. The food wasn’t as good, it felt like it had been prepared for the day and we came in the evening so tough meat, hard roasted veg etc. lastly we ordered crumble with flapjack crumb, it was honestly the worst desert I’ve ever had. I never send food back but on this occasion myself and another with the same desert refused it. It was as thought they’d run out and thought they’d sprinkle some uncooked porridge oats on top. It was disgusting. Nothing like crumble or flapjack and I genuinely don’t know how anyone would enjoy that. It’s a shame as it was a disappointing experience and has put us off returning if the food is not a reliable standard."

"Visited tonight with the family as we do on a regular basis but not had the best experience tonight. Ordered food and drinks on the app drinks came all good, food twenty minutes after order told no fish and chips can we find another alternative found another meal not offered a refund as it was lower amount. 15 mins later food started to come out received four of the meals 5 mins after the last meal appeared no sign of the onion rings or sauces !!! Asked the floor member she bought the onion rings this was 15 mins after the first meals came out )still no sauces . My son in law then went up and fetched the sauces off the hot plate and asked where the other one was at this point we had ate our dinners . Think if the pub was busy I could understand but it was empty no customer service what's so ever on the floor staff. Hoping to hear a reply back from head office."

"Went for a lovely dinner with the family booked are table by phone. When we arrived was seated by amie who explained the ordering service all staff was friendly and helpful as could see they was busy. When are food was ready was told by amie that we could collect from pizza station. Food was very nice and wasn't under the light too long like some places. After are meal was asked if we wanted everything else we was to full so decided not to but all together was a fantastic meal out and would definitely come back and we highly recommend."
