The Elm Tree - Speisekarte

What a nice stop on my mountain bike beautiful place and nice tasty new York deli baguette . Good value too and the potato wedges are out of this world

We have enjoyed several meals at this restaurant while visiting the country. The staff, food, and view have always been excellent. Thank you from all of us - Dave, Bryn, Jill, Barry, and Marlene.

Lovely Easter lunch. Three of us chose carvery and we were told tgey would give us a few minutes notice of when the fourth meal would be served which was brilliant!! Food was delicious and service friendly and helpful Speisekarte ansehen

The food was decent, but they forgot to bring out my garlic pizza bread. They took away the menus so we couldn't double check until we got home. Overall, we all agreed it was just okay and we probably won't be returning to the restaurant.

We had lunch here with some former colleagues we had not seen for some years. The pub serves food for a couple of hours at lunchtime on most days. Service was good and the prices were moderate. There were plenty of options for a light meal. Real ale is available.

Lovely meals served by cheerful waiter very well presented. We had the liver. Very tasty substantial helpings. The beers are well kept a good variety. Clean throughout. Beer gardens overlook the rolling countryside there is a good view of Bolsover Castle. Will visit again in the near future. Thank you for a good experience. Speisekarte ansehen

Overall, I found the meal to be very poor and lacking in imagination. I recommend that the chef at Elm Tree speak to the chef at Crewyard Cafe Cuckney for inspiration on how to cook delicious vegan meals. While the staff at Elm Tree were friendly and the setting was lovely, I would not recommend this restaurant for individuals with food allergies.

We stopped here for lunch on a very sunny day and found a table outside the view is lovely and there is a little playground bit for kids to play on. We both had the chicken burger and we ordered on the App everything went very smoothly the service was excellent everything was brought to us we both had the chicken burger and it was so good the chips were amazing but we didn’t have any room left for pudding so we will have to come back when we are passing again defiantly recommend this pub.

Came for the first time for a family meal and was impressed, although all staff I saw was young they was all polite and in good spirits which is refreshing and very nice to see as in most places look like they can’t be bothered to be there. Food was lovely although burgers abit dry. Was slightly on the expensive side but for a treat we didn’t mind as food was nice and service spot on. However, I did have a couple of gins which I asked for no ice and both times came with ice but we was a big table and staff did seem busy so didn’t mention it. Would recommend! Speisekarte ansehen
