Quiet only due to everyone away for spring break. Excellent service standard as usual.

Very friendly service from a young and eager staff. Menu is interesting but could do with a couple more mains.

The Engine Room had closed on July 21st and nobody had reached out to us. In fact, OpenTable had asked us to confirm our reservation for July 27th, even though the restaurant was already closed.

This restaurant is a charming spot for lunch with an amazing car collection on display. The food is delicious and the service is top-notch, all set in a summery ambiance. I will definitely return! Speisekarte ansehen

Fabulous environment with indoor and outdoor seating and lots of attention to detail in the decor. Food was excellent in presentation and taste. Pizza was enormous and delicious. Plenty of choice for meat, fish and vegetarian eaters no vegans in our party so not sure how it stacked up here, but there were vegan choices. Not a large menu but plenty to choose from and all 6 in our group (mixed vegetarian and meat eaters enjoyed the meal. Service was excellent and restaurant appeared to be well staffed. I had a wonderful birthday lunch with my son at this restaurant. I have to mention that the service was a bit slow as we waited 20 minutes before we were even able to get a drink or appetizers. However, the rest of the meal and service were satisfactory. The building itself was beautiful and it was clear that no expense was spared. The patio dining area was lovely, with a retractable cover in case it got too hot. The prices were reasonable, especially since we went on a Friday and got to enjoy the set price lunch menu. My son really enjoyed his cocktail, although I can't remember the name. It had a tequila and chile flavor profile. The restaurant was busy and had a great atmosphere overall.

I would have given The Engine Rooms 5* but for two things. The restaurant has a unique USP combining, as it does, its original purpose (a car showroom with the owner’s love of art. It is a funky space with plenty of outdoor seating options cool decor, even if the dimming system controlling the lights is less than subtle (hubby works in home technology and was mildly irritated . We were served by the Operations Manager, new to the job and finding his feet wearing a very cool pair of Oliver Goldsmith glasses (sorry, ex dispensing optician . He knew little about the wine list but was happy for hubby to try a mouthful of a rather lovely Bulgarian Pinot noir, before ordering a bottle. The food wa... Speisekarte ansehen
