beautiful little tee room. cremetee was amazing. very clean and freendly personal. have a good selection of tips products.

Simple but excellent baked potatoes; cakes and scones and lots of Tiptree products on sale including salted caramel vodka. Yum.

This place is very nice with historic feel to it. The food and customer service is very good. However, their toilets can be upgraded to be made a bit bigger. Speisekarte ansehen

This is our favourite place. Service is excellent and very efficient. Staff very friendly. Food is delicious and nicely presented. Lovely surroundings. What more can you ask for it is a real treat to go to Essex Rose

love this place! due to the Covid sessions is minimal, as ready to wait as this is a popular tea room. but queueing is worth waiting because the cake is always fresh and let's start it that doesn't love a piece of moist fresh cake. the lady who served us was so polite and friendly and made our lunchtime negotiation amazing.

Total let down today, messed our order up completely, sandwiches were dry, sausage roll was forgotten altogether so my daughter had to wait even longer again and the scone literally fell to pieces. Staff looked and acted rushed and stressed. Definitely not in a rush to return and pay that amount for the food and service we received. Speisekarte ansehen

we stopped here to take sandwiches during a walk around the constable country and can not recommend enough. our sandwiches (a crowning chicken and a cheddar) came on paper plates with scratches and salat garnish all packed in foil. we found a place at the river and tucked in- they were absolutely delicious. the staff of essex rose were very friendly and service was fast. will definitely visit again if the next in the opposite many thanks for a super lunch xx

service was fair, we sat and gave menus quite fast, we had to wait for a table, but were extremely satisfied with the cleaning of it before we sat (top and beyond for covid19). the food was delicious, the toasties were perfect and so was the plower. the only disadvantage is that they were made of jackpotatos (at 1pm) and the coat potato we got was a bit cold and needed to be offered with butter. other than this would be very special as they become gluten-free people.
