My wife and I went to this restaurant without a reservation and were quickly seated. We were given menus and ordered some soft drinks. We both enjoyed a delicious lunch, served by very friendly staff, and all at reasonable prices. We highly recommend this place.

Family breakfast. Five meals some were good others poor. Only because the order wasn’t delivered correctly. Ie missing egg , bacon and wrong beverage delivered. Was the staff under pressure?? Has been very good in past but disappointment to out Sunday breakfast. Speisekarte ansehen

Located just ten minutes away from Belfast Airport, this restaurant offers fantastic food and has an extremely friendly staff. They are able to cater to vegetarian and vegan dietary preferences. The atmosphere is very family-friendly and overall fantastic. Thank you for the great food and service!

Fat Gherkin always delivers on a delicious soda stack; think I’ve visited four times. I had the full stack and a flat white and it was so tasty. My only qualm is I’m used to asking a café can I swap out items for similar items and it’s never been an issue. The Fat Gherkin waiter assured me I could make the items swap and it was my assumption no additional charges would be added. Surprised to see my £10 soda stack was increased to £13.20; I had asked for three items removed and two added. Messaged the café with my concern 7 days ago but no reply. Oh well.

I recently visited The Fat Gherkin in Moira, Northern Ireland, and I must say that I was thoroughly impressed with the overall experience. The menu, food, service, and atmosphere were all exceptional. I visited with a party of 4, and we all agreed that we would definitely go back. The menu at The Fat Gherkin is diverse and offers something for everyone. The vegan options are particularly noteworthy, with dishes such as the avocado mushroom bap, mushroom toast, and cake. The vegetarian sandwich can be made vegan upon request. The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. I highly recommend the Soda Stack (Vegetarian option available) and Dirty Chai Latte.
