The Old Forge Inn - Speisekarte

so nice to have a restaurant with so good value and quality opened on Monday. loves the sweet, so many to choose, cooked to perfection and the gravure makes it very special.

My husband and I eat at the Forge often, we usually have the carvery but decided that we would try something different and we weren't disappointed, I had Scampi and my husband had the mixed wrap , all really good and tasty.

On the back of good reviews we thought we’d give it a go. The place is like a holiday camp. It’s in dire need of a makeover. The food, although plentiful, is over cooked and tasteless. We were in and out in minutes....We won’t be back. Speisekarte ansehen

I visited today and had a beef pie and vegetables with a brownie and ice cream dessert. The team were welcoming, attentive and helpful. The interior is opulent whilst humble and that theme echos through the food and service. The quality of food was great,...it was honest food and for great value.

the carvery is the best we've ever eaten. we regularly go there and have taken friends and family at many places and they go back. the meat is always delicate and there is a large selection of fresh vegetables. the staff are...always welcome and friendly and pleased to see their customers very important is the place immaculate and especially the toilets are always immaculate.

This restaurant has the best carvery around. The meat is tender and flavorful, and the selection of vegetables is excellent. The value for money is fantastic, and the restaurant is very clean with beautiful decor. My only constructive criticism is that the waitstaff and bar employees could be a bit more welcoming and friendly. Also, I was not thrilled when the bill was presented to some guests while others were still eating in the party. Despite these minor complaints, I would definitely return to this restaurant. I’ve passed this restaurant quite a lot and it’s always busy so my son and I thought we’d give it a try. The owner is Turkish and that explains why it’s so outstanding. Turkish people are renowned for their wonderful customer service and brilliant cooking....What a totally amazing establishment. The carvery is delicious. Always hot and fresh and a great choice of accompaniments. The staff are welcoming and serve you with a smile. I’ve been a few times and it never disappoints. My family and I chose the Forge to celebrate my dad's birthday, there where of us so I had reserved a large table in the library section, we could not have asked for any more, the food was delicious as always, the service...was excellent....despite them being short staffed, they really did go above and beyond to make it a special day for my dad. Kamal and his team are professional and friendly and the interior decor is beautiful, that's why we keep going back and will continue to do so. Thanks to all the team at the Forge. There's a couple of carveries in my area and both aren't great for different reasons. So hard good things about The Forge and thought we'd give it a go. The first things you'll notice is the size and the decor. It's really nice with some...Turkish touches. The tables are spaced out nicely and when we went the was no problem getting a quiet table. The staff are friendly, chatty and helpful. The carvery was absolutely spot on. Everything treated fresh and hot, the meats really tasty and well cooked. A large selection of things to help yourself to including cheesy mash and mashed swede and carrots I can't remember seeing these items offered at other carveries.
