We went for a lunch on a Tuesday and couldn't believe how quiet and devoid of customers it was. Couldn't fault the food though.

Absolutely love this place, I have never been before. Staff very attentive checked on allergies, good varied menu. I hope to return soon.

A proper local pub with fantastic atmosphere, staff and food. We are looking forward to returning and enjoying 1 of the many street food vans they have to offer throughout the year

The food was nice. Not a huge amount of vg/v options, the menu is very limited. The menu on the website hasn't been updated for over 2 weeks, so when we arrived the menu was completely different. The coffee was awful. Nice pub all round, would visit again, but won't be ordering a coffee that's for sure.

Had a fantastic meal we turned up last minute and was found a table and was made to feel very welcome. Staff are very friendly and attentive. The menu has a great selection for everyone including vegetarians . We thoroughly recommend and can’t wait to come back as we didn’t have room for dessert but they sounded so yummy!!!!

Had a Sunday lunch here with ma mum. It was lovely, busy enough to enjoy the atmosphere and the food was well prepared. Didn’t have to wait long but long enough to know it was freshly prepared. As long as you expect good quality food and a nice atmosphere then you won’t be disappointed. Interestingly they do various good nights in the week, so keen to get down and try those out for something a bit different than the usual pub grub. Definitely a good place for families or days out with the parents. Not a date spot though.

Found this place online as we are not from the area. Booked a table (for the same night) online which was really easy and the confirmation even had a link for directions. The place is nicely decorated and had a good feel. We both had a starter and main we were planning on desert as they looked really good, but couldn't do it. The portions are a good size. The food and service was excellent, the best we have had for quite some time. It's a very good menu with something a little different in a good way. We are planning to go back if we have time whilst in the area.

I went to the Fox on my own (well, with my dog), as a treat to myself, as my other half was playing golf and having his main meal elsewhere. The service was really friendly, wine was lovely, and my meal of chicken in parmsan crust was wonderful. I 'm lucky that I live within staggering distance, so no driving necessary. I 'm not in the habit of going to pubs on my own, but I 've done this in the Fox before and always had a friendly welcome, chatted with other guests and felt completely comfortable. I 'm not sure that I would feel that way in all pubs. The menu seemed more affordable too....I was impressed by the 'smaller appetites ' section, which seemed to include a burger and fries for a g...
