"We had a really nice meal with friends and the food was lovely. My only critisism would be that at £7.50, the prawn cocktail starter was overpriced. The prawns and lettuce were very fresh but there was no bread with it as you would expect so it was quite a small portion for the money considering you can get a main meal for £10-12. It was quite busy but the staff was attentive and they were quick with both the food and drink orders. My main meal wasn't bought out with the others and I had to ask if they could check where it was as the other 3 had started eating their meals. It arrived a few minutes later. Overall a good experience and we would definitely go back again."

Always love eating here. Never fail to provide fantastic service. There was a mass power cut and I was still satisfied with the service. That's how you know they're good at what they do. Can't recommend them more!

The atmosphere was delightful and the waitstaff was exceptional. The food was delicious with generous portions. They took great care in ensuring the customer's experience was top-notch while adhering to Covid regulations. I will definitely be making another reservation soon!

I have been going to the Fox on a regular basis for some years. The staff are friendly and efficient and the food is good quality pub food. They have adapted well to COVID-19 rules and provided a first glass takeaway during the lockdown. I will continue to recommend The Fox as a good place to eat.

I was disappointed with my meal of pie, mash, and vegetables as it was served cold initially. After sending it back, it appeared to have been quickly reheated in the microwave, evident by the fork marks in the mash. Unfortunately, this experience has deterred me from returning to this restaurant. Additionally, be sure to double-check the prices before making a reservation as they seem to be higher than what is listed on the OpenTable page.
