Thin that says a lot about it. Pictures attached, Starters , pork ribs whitebait. Mains, mushrooms risotto duck fettuccini. Dessert, Sicilian lemon tart tiramisu. Highly recommend a visit. "The location of the restaurant was great and the room was nice, but we were extremely disappointed with our 2-night stay. We arrived at 3:00 as advertised, but received a voicemail saying the restaurant was closed from 3:00 to 5:00. When we arrived at 3:10, no one was around to check us in and there were no keys in the drop box. We went elsewhere for dinner and drinks and returned after 5:00, still unable to reach anyone. Finally, we got into our room around 6:00. Despite booking a room with a roll-top bath, we did not get what we wanted and the electric in our room kept going off. Breakfast was not an option as no one was ever around in the morning and the pub was only open for 2 hours the night we arrived. Overall, we were very disappointed and will not be returning to this establishment in the Cotswolds."

"We decided to stop by for dinner on a whim, and we were pleasantly surprised! The staff was gracious, friendly, and incredibly welcoming. The food was cooked to perfection and absolutely delicious. I noticed they were quite busy with home deliveries, and when I asked about it, they generously offered to deliver to us in the future, even though we’re outside their usual delivery area. We will definitely return—what a fantastic discovery! I highly recommend it to everyone. Meal type: Dinner."

"Popped in for a late ish lunch on a Friday afternoon. Not much on menu that was suitable for someone who's intolerant to gluten, could see no alternative options displayed and there were no jacket potatoes left just after 1.30pm all of which seemed surprisingly disappointing compared to other similar places I've been. Didn't feel very welcomed and almost like we were a bit of an inconvenience even though the place didn't shut for hours. I'm also pretty sure that the upset tummy I developed 3 hours later was down to what I ate or drink there. The decaff coffee tasted and looked awful like hot water had been poured through a filter paper of already used coffee grounds to eek it out. We were on a tight schedule so didnt feel inclined to wait for a replacement and I just put up with it, which I'm now regretting. The food was simple and nice enough but something was definitely off. Husband enjoyed his sandwich and was fine. Like to support local businesses, especially as times are hard, but won't be returning, sadly."

"The place has high chairs so you would think that they would cater for children but no. My wife visited with her family, they checked the menus online and when they got there they were told that the menus online were out of date so what they intended to have they couldn’t. She then asked for the children’s menu and was told that they didn’t have one and would have to order of the normal menu. She chose beans on toast for our 3 year old but when they ordered it they were told that she could have it because the toaster was put away and they stopped doing breakfast 20mins ago. Her only options were £10 bagels or baguettes which we all know a 3 yr old will pick at and never eat thus wasting it. The staff were unhelpful and when we messaged to business personally they ignored my message. We like to support local businesses, but these businesses also need to look after their customers needless to say we won’t be returning anytime soon"
