absolutely super. could not highly rated it 5 amazing service. great food. friendly. as supplement to amazing view from the garden.

the food was delicious, all freshly cooked and the young man who served us was charming. the only thing that made it give up was a part of her clientele, but that was not the fault of the pub!

Such a nice small country pub. Delicious good sized plates of Roast and pudding. Excellent kind caring staff with good sense of humour. I would highly recommend a visit, we are lucky to have it as a local.

We visited the Gallipot inn this week and had the most delicious lunch. The staff were very friendly and we felt very welcome. Lunch was very tasty and nothing was too much trouble when I requested a slight change to my dish. We will be...visiting the delightful Gallipot inn again .

Fancied a random visit to a pub in the countryside, loved the fact it was an old inn so pulled up for lunch with my three children and wife. The menu was superb and we had a mix of different food and the kids loved...the way the waitresses interacted with them. Absolute guarantee for anyone walking around here or fancying lunch at a 16th century inn. Marvellous.

Four of us attended for lunch today, two adults and two kids. parked easily in the car park, decent sized space for a big car, lovely welcome from the lady at the bar when we arrived. A really intersting and varied choice of dishes, good...kids menu and chef was very flexible over fussy children! Had some warm chorizo to nibble, really yummy, great roasts, lovely desserts and some Harveys bitter shandies made for a very convivial afternoon. We will be back for sure, this is a lovely place with lovely people working there.

this is a wonderful pub building, the first place I want to take a tourist, but possibly only for a drink. the menu was limited, especially standard Brandish pub food, which is good, and we all decided for a burger. what was good. but just a bit dry, I thought, and it was just a little discarded thing that was lying around, the toilets looked like they hadn't been decorated for 50 years. Also note that the parking lot is very small. I'm sorry to sound so warm because it's a jewel, but it just needs a bit of attention and it's dog friendly, always a good thing.

we decided to book the gallipot for the birthday of my dad since we made the trip, but the beautiful location had reminded, so it seemed ideal. he ordered to confirm the day before paying a deposit per head. So when we found it seemed strange that there is no table ready for our group of 9 ... not a big problem when well treated, we are very pleasant and reasonable people. but the two young bare ladies (a particularly with blonde wavy hair) seem a slight problem with posture and from this point were simply wrong rude throughout our visit. it was really something. important is that I would point out that the somewhat older lady I take was very pleasant and felt very welcome. the younger emplo...

We visited 8.02.22 which was a Saturday. We had not booked as it was rainy and not warm. Easy to find, we parked in their own ample car park. This pub is obviously very old but modernised sympathetically; it was pristine clean. It was previously...formed by four 16th century cottages and the fireplace at one end gave out beautiful soft heat!. This is a family pub with great attention to detail run by husband and wife team with their children. How lovely to see so many smiles and explain about the pub (a ‘gallipot’ is a small jar to us. The home made soup was wonderful, as were the braised lamb’s kidneys! Then from the Daily Specials we had the duck breast with mask potato and red cabbage! Wo...
