The Gallows - Speisekarte

Called in on way back from holiday as near to Nice beer, excellent food Sunday dinner) and attentive staff. Really enjoyed it surprised it wasn’t busier.

The roast dinner is fab! Really tasty, hearty portions. Defo worth a trip. Nash, cauliflower cheese, roastoes, nice veg and gravy what more could you want. The Yorkshire pudding is amazing

Had lunch today, very friendly and efficient service. We both chose the jerk chicken with rice from the specials board and it was excellent, accompanied by some good beer (Neck Oil) and wine. Speisekarte ansehen

Went for Sunday dinner after a recommendation and was not disappointed course menu for Lovely fresh dishes, beef was so soft to eat and fabulous thick gravy. Sticky toffee pudding was totally tasty. Overall, amazing.

We had lunchbthjx week, and the ciabatta bread was the Costco bake at home, the rump steak at filled about half the bun, a pint of orange abd lemonade wzs for the orange and for the kemonade to fill, the glass. So...four sandwiches soft dri ks was over jyst nog value for money, very disappointed.

I have said previously that this place is a hidden secret in milnrow I still haven’t had a bad experience food hospitality Etc…. It’s been snowing for many hours here and no taxes were prepared to pick us up so. INCREDIBLY the landlady gave us...a lift home. I’m sure this isn’t a regular option but the fact that it was offered and then we got a lift is fantastic. I cannot recommend this place enough as hidden jems art hard to find. Speisekarte ansehen

Two visits and two meals in Whilst visiting a few pubs in the village called in for a drink and late lunch. Everything about the visit was great. Although I have had a Sunday lunch takeaway during lockdown this was the first time to...enjoy the updated inside of the pub. Which is very tasteful. Staff made us feel welcome and our food was of a very high standard. Today re visited for Sunday lunch. I had the pork which was excellent. Living very close I feel lucky to have the gallows as a local.

First impressions count the bright, clean interior with lovely furnishings was a great start. The menu was just perfect for us as we were hoping for a lovely Sunday lunch. Dad is doesn't like to be over-faced, so they were more than...happy to accommodate by serving the veg separately so he could help himself. The quality of the food was exceptional the presentation very appealing, obviously a very talented Chef. Dad sent his thanks to the Chef he actually popped out to see us, making Dad's lunch complete! All in all, I can't recommend this place high enough we would definitely visit again. Thank you so much well done.

We moved in the local area during lockdown. We desperately wanted a good local pub with great food and atmosphere to match. I can’t recommend this place enough. I waited for our second time to review as we were so impressed with the first visit...that sometimes a second visit can be disappointing. This is not the case at the gallows. Today we had oysters for starters, which were so fresh and came with a fabulous shallot dressing on the side) Tabasco, lemon etc. Then I had the baked salmon with tarragon sauce, prawns and veg.
