"Couldn’t fault the food, amazing and good value for money. Unfortunately the service was poor and although I have been here many times, I will not be returning again. Following a very unclear offer on the website, an attempt of discussion around this led to a hostile and sarcastic response from the waiter. In addition one of the starters had been missed, food was quick but drinks took a while to arrive, and when bringing the receipt over after paying the bill I had to ask where my change was as they had assumed to keep this worth £5. The Tor is my favorite restaurant. The food is excellent, the staff is friendly, the drink selection is impressive, and the lovely outdoor garden adds to the experience. Thank you for creating such a wonderful place!

Excellent food. Good selection. Lovely and hot. Huge portions. Nice atmosphere. Nothing too much trouble. Waiter and waitresses very polite, giving cheerful and accurate service even though they were extremely busy. A very nice experience. We will be back.
