"Impromptu Wednesday evening meal out, I booked a couple of hours before and that was no problem (although they said they get very busy especially at weekends). The waiter was really welcoming and didn’t hesitate to explain all the dishes to us and when my husband said he didn’t want anything too spicy they were happy to tone down the spice in the dish he’d chosen. The food was really tasty and fresh, the atmosphere was nice with Sti Lankan (I presume) music playing in the background. If you like lager, give the Sri Lankan lager a try, it was light and refreshing. I would definitely give the restaurant a whirl if you're in the area, you wont be disappointed."

"Just got a Deliveroo kebab from here The quality was absolutely disgusting Even the chips were soggy and cold how do you mess chips up??? Pathetic!! "Booked over the phone the day before to reserve a table I've been meaning to visit for a while I wish I had visited sooner. Stunning little cafe. We arrived 10 minutes early and the cafe was filling up nicely the smell of coffee was lovely. Nice easy laid out menu plenty to chose from I ordered pot of tea, beef onion panini which was absolutely stunning with coleslaw and salad. The service was great really friendly server who was all masked up and wearing the correct PPE, food was well presented and delicious. We had to wait a little while to order our desserts as the cafe was quite busy and a few joe public were queuing outside for take away coffee's. There was facilities out in the back yard with tables etc for people with dogs to sit. I had a cherry scone with my own little pot of jam cream would recommend you try this. Each table had its own hand sanitizer which I thought was great for little ones who can't keep there fingers out of there mouths. Overall 5 stars will definitely be returning in the near future. To help support our local businesses during these tough times this place is one that we need to support to still be around when Covid is no more. Very reasonably priced, loved it."

"Time and again my family and I call at Blueberries in the bizarre and foolish hope that it has improved. And time and again we continue to be disappointed... Disappointed because the service is poor and the servers (when they dane to notice you, genuinely believe they are doing you a favour by looking down their noses at you. Disappointed not one of us have managed to receive what we ordered this year (so far , despite most of our orders being straight off the page of the grubby menu. Disappointed because food takes an age to arrive, even though take-away customers are told that eat-in customers are prioritised – whilst eat-in customers are told take-away is prioritised! Disappointed as when meals eventually arrive they are both cold and overcooked – which doesn’t seem possible, I know! I have yet to see a soft yoke at any meal on a table I have sat at, or bacon that is more than just-above raw – or less than done to a cinder. One must ask if this is an alien plot to put humans off eating? Disappointed because nobody actually gives a monkeys whether customers have any level of satisfaction in what they have received. Disappointed because there is always something missing: Be-it toast, sauce or knives, forks or visibility of the table due to the detritus of previous occupants. And most of all I am disappointed in myself for having the reoccurring faith that next time will be better than the last. Still – there’s always next week!!!"
