Lovely well attended pub in village. Friendly staff and decent good valued food. Disabled and dog friendly. Sunday carvery is a must. Husband said good selection of full bodied ales.

The food was fantastic, the atmosphere was great, and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. They even made room for our newborn, in case we had a pram. This is definitely my favorite restaurant to go to.

Group of 14 of us booked for dinner. Excellent communication leading up to the night and very flexible with alterations etc. Large portions of excellent food and sensible prices. We’re looking forward to a return trip. Thank you! Speisekarte ansehen

Located just off junction 27 of the M5, this pub is conveniently situated with ample parking. It's the perfect spot for a pit stop when traveling from Cornwall up north and back. This was our second visit and we will definitely be returning. We were greeted with a warm and friendly welcome, and our dog was well taken care of. The food was delicious and reasonably priced.

We booked The Globe for our works Christmas meal. The food was delicious, everyone said it was the best Christmas meal we’ve had. The portion sizes are really generous and we were given more than enough sides. Great value and good choice on set Christmas menu. The staff are really friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend, and not just for Christmas! Well worth a visit. Thank you!

Attended for Sunday lunch (carvery) absolutely first class in every respect. This was an important get together meal with family from around the world. Twelve of us including a child needing a high chair three vegetarians and one gluten free!! Despite the restaurant being VERY busy this was no problem at all. I was truly disappointed with my experience at The Globe restaurant. My burger was overcooked and greasy, and the chips were also overdone. It was a Sunday and the restaurant was extremely busy, with the kitchen staff seeming overwhelmed by the volume of orders. Unfortunately, this resulted in a negative dining experience for me. Additionally, I found it frustrating that I had to pay before our meal even arrived at the table, which I believe is not a good policy. Overall, I was upset and could not understand why the managers would allow such subpar food to be served. My experience at The Globe left me feeling very annoyed.

Maybe Friday night isn't the best night to eat here, but we had what was essentially an expensive McDonalds. Which was a shame as I hate McDonalds. The food was mediocre at best, uninspiring and unimaginative. And didn't come with the salad that should have been included. I had to ask where it was, and the uniterested response from the waitress was that the delivery hadn't come that day. Well, thanks for telling me that when I ordered. And thanks for charging me for it too. Oh and the two glasses of wine were **** expensive. However, the waitress brought biscuits and a bowl of water for our dogs straight away. We were recommended Sunday lunch here by friends so I booked well ahead for my husbands birthday which also happens to be Remembrance Day (he is ex armed forces). We were shown to a very small table for two which was squeezed next to another table for two really uncomfortable and I am not a big lady! My husband however is 6ft 7 and found the seating very restrictive. When I asked it we could move to a more appropriate table, we were told that there were none spare, although one in the same area was empty as were several more in the pub.
