"came out of wales for a few days in camper, our first priority was to find a decent pub to watch the Scottland w wales game, after a bit too foot and to check the cities hostilitries, we decided with his great bar and a series of tvs the black bear was the place to watch the game, friendly and welcoming bar atmosphere serving beautiful staff, all in all a highly recommended place to visit"

"No idea at all why, but we thought we'd drive to Diddly Squat. Once we encountered the 2 hour queues we sensibly thought we'd look for an alternative, and found Martha's best decision we made all day! What a treat the food was exquisite, the place was beautiful and the service top drawer. I wouldn't bother going back to Diddly Squat again, but I'd definitely drive an hour knowing that Martha's was at the other end of the journey!"

"We had an incredible meal here on Friday. The orders were taken in good time and the food arrived out exactly when we needed it. The Staff were attentive, friendly, and so hard working we were blown away with the effort every one of them put into the evening. "We went to this restaurant by chance as we were staying in the area. It was a Friday evening and we were given a table fairly quickly. It was a very busy evening with two parties of ten also in the restaurant,service wasn’t rapid but acceptable and given the two large groups, completely understandable. The food was excellent and the prices very reasonable. Would we go again? Yes! We did on the the Sunday night of the same weekend ! That’s how good it was. The service was absolutely spot on without the large groups , who obviously take some looking after and the food, if anything, was better than the Friday night! The staff are attentive, yet make you feel relaxed and they have a great sense of humour. If I could give eleven out of ten I would. Well done Maharaja restaurant, you are exceptional! We will be back"

"We had a wonderful experience at this classic pub. The owners were friendly and helped us (Americans) choose ales that we would enjoy. They even let us play a game of pick up sticks at our table before we ordered dinner, which was delicious. I ordered the pesto fish and my partner had the Hunters chicken. We were lucky to be there when a tour group arrived and local musicians entertained us. Don't forget to try the sticky toffee pudding. The pub is conveniently located within walking distance from Chipping Camden."
