First place we came across and what good choice! Good choice of food and the Falafel pitta and Homity Tart were fab. Good coffee to with it and shop to browse as well. Well worth visiting

Great little find in the middle of Ilminster. Great coffee with a choice of vegan milk and fresh, delicious food. Terrific service from the staff and a really relaxed and friendly atmosphere.

Stopped at the pretty town of Ilminster on the way to Taunton. The Green House was a real delight to eat at. I had the lentil pie and salad. Excellent!! My husband had the chocolate macaroon and coffee. He said that the macaroon was very fresh and mouth watering. The coffee is exceptional. I wonder what brand they use? High recommended.

I had the shakshuka - eggs cooked in a delicious tomato sauce. It was so good that I practically licked the plate clean. I consider myself a coffee connoisseur, and their coffee is truly the best around. Not only that, but the staff are also wonderful people. I wish I could visit more often. And let's not forget about their amazing cakes that my wife adores.

This is a lovely place to visit. Very friendly service, really tasty, freshly prepared food (vegan or otherwise) and a good pot if tea as well! Interesting green shopping fill your own shall I, vinegar etc. Really pleasant setting Not now in Ilminster itself, a little way outside at Whitelackington (closer to A303) on a pretty country estate with plenty of free parking a d nearby walking. Whether you just want a cake and a coffee, or a more substantial meal there is plenty of choice, everything is locally sourced and delicious. Beautiful eco-friendly paints, gifts, hand and useful items including bamboo toothbrushes ranging through to non-plastic glitter. You can also take your bags or boxes to buy a range of dry goods AND get your washing up liquid or laundry liquids replenished. What is not to LOVE about this place??

I visited this café for the first time today. They offer vegan and vegetarian options similar to a health food shop. I chose to sit in the café and ordered a flat white coffee and a slice of chocolate torte. The torte was decadent and delicious. The prices were reasonable and the atmosphere was lovely. They also allow dogs. I would recommend this place. You can park outside or on the street for an hour, or in the Tesco car park for up to 3 hours.

During our journey back to London from Cornwall, we came across this charming family-owned restaurant. My wife found it while searching for lunch spots near Ilminster junction. Despite being a bit out of the way for us, we were pleasantly surprised by this hidden gem. Situated in a beautiful green area, the welcoming lady who runs the place greeted us warmly. Although the selection of hot food options was somewhat limited, my wife adored their vegan goodness bowl so much that we ordered an extra portion. The kids enjoyed the freshly made sausage rolls and baguettes. The homemade brownie and double chocolate muffin were exceptional, with my son - who typically avoids desserts - claiming it wa...
