Lovely evening at the Gin tasting evening. Great food and drink. Would recommend both the main restaurant and the bar menu.

The best tasting Sunday lunch I have had in a very long time! The beef was perfectly cooked and potatoes were delicious. To be fair we had to wait about 40 minutes as they were very busy but the food was worth it.

Fabulous couple of days in Dartmouth made all the better for staying in this hotel. Room very comfortable and food just amazing. Staff very friendly and efficient and a very cheery good morning from the owner this morning! Will most definitely be staying again.

Fabulous weekend with the family. This hotel never fails to provide us with a first class break. It's traditional mixed in with a little bit of luxury in the best possible location. The staff, as always, could not have done more to ensure we had a wonderful stay.

we had booked a table for the 90th birthday of our mother and then ... the snow came! I must say that the staff was wonderful, a few dinge were understandably from the menu as dartmouth was cut off for a few days. they have brought some flowers before the place, as the florist could not come into the city, and we had a fabulous meal.

on Easter Sunday the library room has booked for my mammut for the 70th birthday party. . could not have been lovable. food excellent (we ordered from the bar menu) and personal where fantastic.Nothing was too much effort. would highly recommend for small family to come together. many thanks to all in the royal lock for the support to celebrate us for this special day!

came here for Mother's Day lunch with my partner her daughter and her mother, it was a last minute booking and they were very courteous, at the arrival the room was neatly presented we were our table showing the smell of food during the building, the service was great and I can honestly say it was the best roast I had ever recommended the red meat was juicy and boiled perfectly on the ‘
