"Decided to travel 8 miles to breakfast here. Mistake! Restaurant nice enough looking. Considering this was quite early and not many customers the toilet (yes only one could have been cleaner and smelling nicer. But to the breakfast. I did think about having the full breakfast and this may well have been nicer. I opted to have two breakfast rolls. The rolls were cheap and nasty, think of a six pack out of the cheap and reduced section of a supermarket. They were really bad. I had asked for the bacon on my rolls to have the fat removed and to be medium to well cooked. I received cindered bacon. The fat had not been removed but in an attempt to perhaps hide it the 2 very small rashers of bacon on each roll had been had been cremated (may it rest in peace! I left half of each roll and had removed the bacon onto the plate. The server did not how to manage this she did ask if everything was ok and tried to just walk away as I told her no! Would not return! Tom"

"Good varied menu and selection of cakes. Reasonable prices . Food didn't take long to come despite it being quite busy. Food was fresh, and a good sized portion, and nicely presented. Great front of house service from the waitress, she was very efficient, friendly and helpful about menu choices. Plus a nice little shop to buy meals and other goodies to take home. Parking: Parking on site, plus overflow parking available in field opposite . Service: Dine in"

"Our lunch for three was excellent on a busy Saturday afternoon. I enjoyed haggis with mashed potatoes and vegetables for £12.95, while my partner had penne rigatoni pasta with seafood for £12, and my mother had stir-fried noodles for £14.95. We also indulged in three delicious desserts. The food overall was outstanding. The staff was friendly and attentive, and our dishes arrived promptly. The prices were reasonable, slightly higher than typical pub fare. The only downside was the high price of £2.75 for a glass of Irn-Bru. Unfortunately, this is a common practice in many restaurants and hotels."

"The absolute best pizza place in Ayrshire!! Went for our 1st time tonight and was blown away by the choices of pizzas and sides. Ordered 4 pizzas: Sir Anchovy (amazing), pulled pork and pear (flavour explosion), popeye (delicately balanced flavours) and the BBQ for my youngest which he absolutely loved! We also ordered the Dirty Fries and the sweet potato fries which were both incredible!!! We drove a good 20 mins to get the food and were 100% not disappointed in the slightest!! 100% will be back again as this is my new pizza place Ohh and the service was quick friendly and efficient, 5 stars all round. "Lovely food , portions were a little big for me . Big seafood menu . 2 course for 2 people was around £70 after tip with no alcohol . Would go again if it was a special occasion though i wouldnt order a burger like my dad as it was pretty basic . Fish pie was excellent Hotel highlights: Great view, Quiet"
