Superb friendly service, couldn't be more helpful. Excellent Sunday roast, the roast pork the lamb was cooked to perfection, real tasty gravy vegetables.

Just had an amazing birthday lunch here. They went above and beyond to ensure I had a good lunch. The decor is lovely too and there is plentiful parking. Woukd highly recommend.

Booked a 80th Birthday for my Mum, Nothing was to much trouble. Charlotte took the booking and organised a great evening, the guys in the kitchen cooked hot, tasty amazing food and will be returning in the New Year Speisekarte ansehen

Fantastic Burgers and Deserts from the Lunch Menu. There were also a couple of new members of staff who were being trained which didn't affect the service. Would highly recommend. Amazing Fresh Food at a reasonable price with a friendly atmosphere.

Thank you so much for the fabulous night we had for my daughter’s birthday. There were 15 of us and the selection of buffet food and deserts you provided was exceptional. Your staff were so attentive and I even reduced a call the day before running through the arrangements to check everything was okay. I wouldn’t hesitate to use you again for another occasion. Sunday dinner frozen prawns in prawn cocktail over cooked wilted salad not enough prawn cocktail sauce over cooked roast pork and roast beef. Vegetables, baked yorkshire pudding and roast potatoes over cooked too much gravy all over dinner not appetizing made made everything on plate looked like everything on plate look unpleasant not worth the price. Will say last time in August 2023 when Rob Ayres who cooked the Sunday dinner it was fantastic cooked to perfection and delicious. Speisekarte ansehen

I think i must have gone to a different Hare and Hounds after reading the reviews for this pub because my meal was not up to the standard that i would expect. the starter (spring roll with hoisin sauce) was well over cooked and chewy. The main course was salmon with dauphinoise potatoes. Had very little taste and again overcooked, we had to ask for the vegetables that came with the meal as they were not delivered. One of our party sent her meal back as it was inedible. I could go on but I think that will do.

Wow, the food was absolutely stunning, not only was the steak gorgeous, the seasoning on different parts of the meal, the peppercorn sauce was out of this world, sounds silly but honestly it’s nothing I’ve ever tasted before, the mushrooms were cooked to perfection and the potatoes were lush! There is some lovely food on the menu and all reasonably priced, it was cosy, nice atmosphere and the new decor looked great! Worth every penny, we met with the landlord and landlady, absolutely lovely people, made us feel welcome and Charlotte the bartender/waitress was accommodating, smiley and friendly. Three of us and our labrador visited on Christmas Eve for lunch and had the most wonderful time. Staff were all extremely welcoming and friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them. Two of us have some allergies (including gluten, dairy, egg and onion), but care was taken and attention was paid to make sure that everybody could enjoy as much of the menu as possible. The three of us had roasts, one turkey, one beef and one lamb. Each came with extremely generous helpings of perfectly cooked meat and veg, and a range of accompaniments that were paired to each dish, as opposed to being one-size-fits-all.
