Brilliant staff very helpful and dinner was gorgeous. They were very accommodating for my dad who is 89 and has a zimmer frame

This restaurant is decent. They have a pool table for entertainment and the staff is polite. The female server who assisted me was friendly and talkative. They offer a fair variety of drinks. It will be conveniently located once the new train line is operational.

Today, my family group of 20 had an amazing Christmas lunch at this restaurant. Everyone in our group loved the food and complimented how delicious it was. The staff were exceptional, friendly, and always willing to help. The atmosphere was cozy and relaxed. I highly recommend this restaurant.

My husband and I came for a peaceful lunch. The bar staff were friendly. We both ordered the double cheeseburger, which was absolutely delicious and highly recommended (although doubling up was a bit too much). The portion size was huge. The homemade chips were amazing. The price was also very reasonable.

After being let down by another venue, we called into the Hastings to be told the food was finished at 5pm, but on hearing what happened the kitchen staff stayed behind and the manager offered us a fantastic range of food. Can't believe they all went above and beyond for us. The food was excellent. Thank you all for a fantastic night. Thank you again to you all and wishing you all a merry Xmas x

We’ve eaten here many, many times as it’s local for us. I felt the need to review here today as I’ve had the most incredible beef stroganoff for lunch on BH Monday. To die for, the beef dropped off the fork it was so tender the mustard based sauce so flavoursome. The staff are friendly and efficient and you can’t beat it for value. The Inch’s cider is a winner too. Highly recommended as there’s always great choice on offer.

Absolutely no complaints for quantity here. The all day breakfast defeated one of us. Crispy spicy chicken came with a large serving of chips and some coleslaw. That defeated another. The rarely seen breakfast pizza was good, but the base a little tough. Friendly welcome from the staff, but have to say our waitress seemed only mildly interested in her job. That may have resulted in one item which we ordered failing to appear, although it was rectified. Shame because otherwise close to 5 stars.

Called in yesterday Monday 24th and ordered the Roast of the Day (Beef) if I could have IAver would have licked my plate everything was done to perfection the horseradish sauce was mind blowing what a hit to the nostrils to complete the meal and we were already full we ordered the Red Velvet Cheesecake Simply the best We have had many meals here (not a regular) and have never given a review but we should have as we have never been disappointed in the quality of the food and service Well Done!!! and thanks
