I had lunch on Saturday and tried the pork pie. It featured a light, crispy pastry and was filled with plenty of tender meat. It was the best pie I've had in a while! Thank you, and I would highly recommend it. Service: 5/5 Location: 5/5

We love the H&G! It's the closest pub to our home in Minety and love visiting on a Friday night after a busy week of work or a mid-week break from eating at home. Comfortable overnight stop, spacious room, complimentary drinks, lovely dinner menu, breakfast a tad limited and one preferable option not available. Friendly, courteous staff. Only negative was the total impracticality of the shower which needs addressing. Rooms: Lovely room but shower issue lets it down. Food drinks: Good menu, nice cooked food, drinks a little expensive. My wife and I had a delightful stay on our way back from Cornwall. The room was impeccably organized and filled with thoughtful touches that demonstrated a genuine consideration for guest comfort. Dining in the restaurant was an exceptional experience, with high-quality food served by efficient and friendly staff. Breakfast was also excellent and very well presented. I would highly recommend The Horse and Groom, and a big thank you to Dave and his team for their wonderful hospitality.

we were for a night and booked for dinner. nice cozy bar with good friendly service. the restaurant layout and design was excellent. many good options on the menu. Both courses were beautifully presented and very tasty. our waitress, freya was very friendly, confident and attentive. the breakfast was lovely; again, very good interesting options. all eating was over our expectations; Thank you, chief. very nice spacious room with roll-top bathroom. we recommend to mount a long dressing mirror.
