The Joiners Arms - Speisekarte

Noisy and lively but good modern menu and good service from a young team. We had a fish and seafood sharing meal which was excellent.

The food was amazing, sitting at a table by the window was perfect for our dogs, and there were plenty of gluten and dairy-free options. The service was outstanding.

Food was very nice but noise level was excessive. Too many people into one space plus music plus dogs barking! Not a very enjoyable dining experience, more like a kids play area!

As always, The Joiners Arms never disappoints. The staff were great, they were friendly, attentive and the service was excellent. We had the fish of the day which was delicious and we will no doubt be back again very soon. Thank you

Hi guys, this is the second time we have eaten at your restaurant, great beer selection! Only thing was when looking at menu there wasn’t really anything that was different to where we’ve been on our hols, don’t get me wrong the food we had was fab both had the burgers with sides, but just felt needed a bit more choice. We arrived by car from the nearby Link House Farm but couldn’t find anywhere to park so returned to our lodge and walked along the narrow country road. The staff were very friendly and efficient. The food however was bland, despite the presentation being very good. My smoked salmon fish cake was dry inside and the chips were dry and tasteless. A real let down as it all looked so appetising on the plate. Bill for two was £85 which I thought was a bit on the steep side for what was effectively two chippy teas and a couple of drinks. Very well appointed though and I imagine they will have a captive audience as it’s the only pub in the area really.

We were staying in the Newton Hall Garden Rooms and had a voucher for the dinner, bed breakfast. The food in the Joiners Arms was delicious, fresh and piping hot. We didn’t have to wait long at all for our starters or mains and both were absolutely delicious. We had seen pictures online so when we realised they weren’t on the residents fixed menu they were happy to accommodate our request to pay towards the additional for what we wanted. I had fish (huge! and chips and my partner had the sirloin steak. Breakfast this morning was wonderful.. would recommend the full english and the eggs Benedict (with salmon … AMAZING!
