"Found this on Google close to where I was staying. On arrival presentation of premises looked nice and clean. Great menu and prices, even a choice for small or large containers. Chose Singapore fried rice and a portion of salt and pepper chicken wings. Took...the food back to hotel and sat in front of tv. Well my rice dish was lovely, good portion with a nice amount of prawns, chicken and pork. My chicken wings were great too, finger licking good! Definitely one to try I am working in the area again this week so I will be returning lol"

"Despite its small appearance from the outside, this wonderful Indian restaurant provides top-notch cuisine that feels almost like dining in a private setting. The food and service were exceptional during our first visit last Friday. Being new to the area, it's always challenging to find good restaurants, but Raj exceeded our expectations with its high quality food and superior service."

"Not very busy for New Year's Eve so lacking atmosphere. Food was okay but they had run out of lamb tikka so we ordered chicken tikka instead for one main course and this was served without the salad and sauce it should have become with. Overall the meal and ambience were just lacking something and we will probably dine elsewhere in future."

"Went for the Italian taster night and it was awesome! Really good quality food and came away completely stuffed after 8 courses for just £20 per head. Even took some home for lunch the next day as well! Feel bad that it’s taken us so long to visit for dinner when it’s right on our doorstep, we occasionally pop in for take away coffee/pastry/cake but will definitely be coming back in for more sit down meals... breakfast is next on the list! Great addition to the local area, keep up the good work"

"I remember going to eat at La Trattoria in Luton when I was a university student back in the 90’s whenever I’d crave for some Italian food done properly like my peeps do it back home, Michele the chef-owner and wife Agnieszka saved many of my dinners at that time.I’ve recently been back to Luton for business after so many years away and was so pleased to find out that Michele, Agnieszka and La Trattoria are still there. Great to see the area around the restaurant has being pedestrianised by the council, a definite uplift from the old days.Fantastic to see that Michele is still cooking and Agnieszka always running the floor, looking not much different from the way I remember them, a bit of a time capsule still holding the same genuine, authentic, flavoursome Italian food and the hospitality warmth typical of the Italian restaurants of the old days.I ate lasagne, I had to, they were so good!In a world where chain restaurants aggressively dominate our high streets it really gladdens my heart to see established, old fashioned, independent restaurateurs still going strong delivering great food and the lovely family atmosphere you would expect from an Italian restaurant.I must go back soon and enjoy it as often as I can, and hope they are not planning to retire anytime soon!"
