Arranged family birthday party for 18 in their function room which is lovely. Lovely food and staff couldn't have been more helpful. Great service from a friendly team. Would recommend and we will return

Had a lovely dinner with family. Was recommended to the mussels and was so glad I had them-they were absolutely delicious. The other members of my family also enjoyed their meals too. Altogether a very relaxing and enjoyable evening with great food

Great atmosphere, the owners are lovely people to deal with and the food is absolutely FANTASTIC! Everything we tried was delicious, the pie, lasagna, fish, starters puddings, all of it! With a good selection of drinks too. We also stayed in the pub and we were nice and comfy. Would highly recommend!

Very disappointed, 7 in our party, drinks took an age to come. Menu selection was such that I was the only one who was happy to order. Two of us selected meals but then were told they were unavailable and the others could not really find anything they wanted so unfortunately we had to leave and go elsewhere. Staff were pleasant. I have had meals here in the past (way back mind) and it was fine so not sure what has happened since.

Last night, I went to this restaurant with my family and our two dogs. We all enjoyed a delicious meal - the admiral pie was a favorite among us. My ribeye steak was a bit overcooked for my liking, but the other dishes were cooked perfectly. The steak came with a large tomato stuffed with pulled pork, which was a tasty and unique touch. Had a very pleasing meal at the Kings Arms last Thursday. Probably one of the best Mussels dishes I’ve had, juicy, plump and wonderfully cooked. The delicious fries and crusty bread and I could’ve been in Brussels. The rest of our party seemed to enjoy the food too. I am a little sad at the reduced options since this venue changed hands as I enjoyed coming here for the haggis dishes. Such a rarity to see that as a regular on a menu, alas it is no more with the new owners. Maybe I ordered well but I would certainly come back here again and the staff here seemed very attentive

Such a great pub and restaurant in absolute beautiful surroundings. Genuinely some of the best food we've had in a restaurant in a very long time and we eat out a lot! I had the seafood linguine which was fresh, light and beautifully cooked. Whilst my wife had the Risotto which she said was one of the best she's had in absolutely ages. All the staff were super friendly and helpful. Really friendly owner checked in on us as well which was a great touch considering how busy they were. Overall a superb restaurant and really good value for money. Will definitely be going back again in the near future.

I traveled from Ireland with my 15-year-old twins for a family funeral and stayed at the King's Arms for two nights. We were warmly welcomed, which was a nice touch after a long drive. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and have high standards for food, whether it's for a large family gathering or a meal for two. The breakfast was excellent, with good quality ingredients, well-presented dishes, and plenty of toast, tea, coffee, etc. The food was so good that we ended up having both breakfast and dinner at the restaurant both nights.
