Great smokehouse meat menu with our table of four opting for the Wagyu Fillet Steaks Stand out starters were the 'Pit Beans ' the 'Pork Scratchings ' Good draught beer selection Tasty puddings/desserts

Food was delicious and reasonably priced, and the waiter was charming. The restaurant was next to empty (Thursday evening). Don't bother with cocktails £8.50 and served with no trimmings in a water glass. Speisekarte ansehen

The food at this lively and bright pub is excellent. The specialty seems to be meat, with the steak and smoked ribs standing out as particularly delicious. The waiters are very attentive and take pride in their service. I overheard another customer raving about the best burger she's ever had, and I can see why.

We are regular visitors to the Bull Hotel: we find the food excellent it can take its time to appear but it well worth the wait as the food is freshly prepared to order. On this occasion everything was perfect. There is a good range of options from their Smokehouse and al a carte menus. We prefer to eat in the bar area but the restaurant is also a great place to eat. Always find the staff friendly and efficient.

Booked a table for lunch midweek with my husband and our baby. Table ready for us, it wasn't busy but the service was excellent-didn't feel rushed but nor were we left waiting an age. We had beef brisket and the beef rib both were delicious. My husband enjoyed the craft beers. All in all would definitely go back, probably not with the rest of our young children as there is no appropriate outdoor space for little ones (the setting of the venue-nothing they can do about it) but definitely as a couple or with friends.
