"Just visited and eaten at this pub for the first time and I have to say, I was very impressed. The service is quick, efficient and friendly. The food was perfect. I couldn't find fault with it at all. Perfect sized portion and was piping hot when served. I will definitely be returning and would definitely recommend to anyone else."

The atmosphere at this restaurant is fantastic, and the bar staff are very friendly and welcoming. They serve a nice bitter from a local brewery, and the food is tasty. We're glad we made a spontaneous decision to stop by. Speisekarte ansehen

I visited this restaurant for lunch on a weekday and ordered drinks and burgers for two. I regret not taking a photo to share because the food was exceptional. The homemade burgers with all the toppings were the best I have had in a long time. The presentation and service were also top-notch.

This restaurant serves outstanding food. I tried the fillet steak cooked medium rare and it was perfectly prepared. The dessert selection was a tough choice as everything looked delicious. The French Chef, Fred, clearly knows his stuff and Tony at the bar was friendly and welcoming. I will definitely be coming back.

"We called in early evening in thé off chance and were greeted warmly and given a choice of tables in the inner courtyard which we wanted. The menu was sufficiently varied and we shared a very fresh mackerel salad starter, followed by beautifully presented plaice fillet on spinach and crushed potatoes with pea and lettuce broth; my husband chose pork loin with savoy and Parmentier potatoes. Both mains were generous and cooked to perfection. We forced ourselves to share a large sized portion of sticky toffee pudding with good coffee alongside. The restaurant served us very good tasting Sauvignon blanc wine in glasses and we were pleasantly surprised to receive a very sensibly priced bill. We had been there some years ago and were delighted to enjoy such a perfect meal served professionally by young, enthusiastic staff and in such a perfect location. Thank you to the clever chefs at the Three Chimneys, we can’t wait to return."

"I had a lovely breakfast in Cranbrook and found food for thought by stumbling upon it. I had the full English breakfast. It was well made but a bit pricey to be honest, I didn't expect a London price so far out. I found it tasty but not value for money. They did get rather full by lunch time and so it's obviously a popular spot. The staff are very friendly too"

"Not sure why but the new Cranbrook restaurant has much better quality food . We have used staplehurst for many years but the food has become very bland, tonight’s meal there was more flavour in the rice than the bhuna or rogan Josh, which were so bland they couldn’t be told apart. The food from the Cranbrook restaurant has each time been full of flavour and spiced correctly . Appreciate they are the same chain, but would be lovely if there was quality control across establishments"

"I had an amazing Sunday lunch at this restaurant. In addition to the roast, there were other options on the menu to choose from. The food was perfectly prepared, tasty, and the service provided by the friendly and attentive staff was excellent. The portion sizes were generous and the prices were very reasonable. I would definitely recommend this place."

"Really want this pub to be good, but every time we try the food is terrible. I know the pizzas and burgers are popular but the al a carte menu just never delivers. I suspect the kitchen staff aren’t actually qualified. They try, with good ideas, but cannot execute. The dogs don’t even eat the chicken. That says something when Labradors refuse meat! Sadly the MH don’t want to discuss improvements. Milk Fest is very popular but they charge £1 per ‘glass’ deposit and then refuse to return. Nice scam. Customer service is ok if you’re happy with teens. Lots of teens on minimum wage who are incredibly polite considering. The owner however is rude and unprofessional. The environment is nice. Toilets could do with more frequent attention. Won’t ever return, despite being on a good dog walk route. There are MUCH better local pubs if you’re visiting Cranbrook area who serve good food with professional service. It should be a good pub with well created food. It isn’t."
