had a meal here for my sonn first birthday staff were amazing and friendly for us adult and children. the food was fabulous. they even managed to press additional 2 orders in the last minute, as there were already 26 without side! Thus place is so good, they are dog friendly the food was amazing! The proper home made chips took me back to my childhood and the chips mum used to make! My partner had a burger and said it was great, I had the beef and ale pie, it was soooo good. My little dog loved the big beer garden. We will definitely be going back.

Had Sunday lunch today. Absolutely lovely. Meat was gorgeous plenty variety of veg and lots of it . Home made yorkshire pudding and stuffing, Really tasty. Not forgetting the roasties and gravey. Desserts looked lovely but I was to stuffed after the lunch to have one. We definatly return and highly recommend. Under New management and new chefs. Food has only started about 2weeks ago. Called in recently on a Friday lunchtime. It was dead! Four workmen! No lights on! No heating! Girl behind the bar Yawning! Gents loo smelly and dirty! Awful pint of Madri, tasted more like Carling! Wife's coffee was cold and all milk! No food on offer! Been going here for over 50 years and I have never seen a transformation from what was a busy friendly place. I can only envisage the shutters up again and I heard its only re-opened! Service: 1

Great value for money! Lovely facilities and comfy beds. Great breakfast options we were given the option of a hot breakfast but opted for cereal, and were given juice and other continental pieces as well. We also had dinner in the restaurant in the evening and the food was good. They do some very good value lunchtime deals from 12 5pm. The staff were all friendly and helpful as anything. The place is huge with a lovely big beer garden. Would absolutely come back and stay again!

Had the pleasure of staying at this accommodation last night with my husband and our son, the pub is very nice and clean, the staff are very friendly and accommodating, we had an evening meal here and the portion sizes were huge and very good value, had a lovely comfortable sleep and breakfast this morning was a delight, cereal, a round of toast and a HUGE full English all included in our price. Couldn't get the TV to run, did mention it to the staff around 9pm but they were really busy, nobody did attention but I didn't want to pressure them to call as they were run off their feet serving staff. Rooms were lovely and clean, comfortable beds, nice bathroom and great shower. Would definitely... Speisekarte ansehen
