"Day out in Bath today. Called in the Lamb and Lion for lunch (beef sub with fries and a pint) . Food was top rate, staff were polite, friendly and very helpful (they carried my drink out for me as I use a walking stick). Spotlessly clean in all and areas, a great atmosphere and will definitely be calling in again. Thank you all at the Lamb and Lion . Fantastic"

We had table booked for six nations, not enough bar staff and twenty people deep at the bar meant we left after 30 minutes

My Wife and I returned here today, usually She has lunch here with her friend but sometimes we get here together. Five star rating will never be enough!

Busy pub on the day I visited, screens everywhere showing the 6 Nations. Very loud, as one would expect. Good choice of beers and cider at reasonable prices. Food was reasonably priced too although I didn't try any. Decent sized beer garden too, but there are even screens out there too!

New to the area was exploring. Popped in for Sunday lunch, on the offchance they were pretty busy but I got a table ok. Food was first rate service was excellent. A little noisy but the footie was on, so to be expected. Thoroughly enjoyed the experience would thoroughly recommend the place.

"Greeted by huge smiles and welcomes from all the staff, service was like fine dining without all the poshness. Great value pastas were all £10 or under, very generous portions (we nearly didn't finish after sharing a tomato bruschetta and tuna carpaccio entrees). Had the seafood orrichiette in tomato, bean and chilli sauce and the linguine king prawns with olives and sundries tomatoes in napoletana sauce. All very good quality ingredients, authentic Italian cooking. Also can't not mention the yummy tiramisu (not too sweet- a great balance). A real gem of a restaurant MUST visit if you're in Bath!"

"new: we love this place so much, we come every time we are in bath, today no take! excellent service and simply amazing eating! they have no idea how to taste the tofu, but it is the best cunning tofu I have ever tasted! original: beautiful caffe. good seating in the sun with picturesque outside area. excellent food and service and beautiful unique drinks. ideal for vegans with adjustable menu! we were available for breakfast and have taken place immediately."

"I found this place on a blog posted on FB. It was a last-minute plan, I called them to see if they had a table half another prior, they were really nice and answered all my questions. We sat outside, the atmosphere was so nice, great play list, staff were super friendly, they accommodated our diet, the food was top quality, all cooked so beautifully, it was both pleasing to the eye and tast pods. We had the nut roast which had a great crunch texture, super light, with roasted potatoes which were so crispy and delicious, the carrots had a sweet taste which could be honey, and the cauliflower cheese was cooked to perfection, the Yorkshire pudding was massive and good, and the greens were also nicely cooked. The crumble was sooooo yummy, crunchy, and not too sweet, with cinnamon ice cream , I can't remember what my partner had for dessert, but he enjoyed it too. I'm not easy to please when it comes to eating out, but this one was spectacular It was such a nice experience. They really made my day "

"We went to CASCARA for a late lunch and we both enjoyed a tofu scramble wrap. It was flavorful and a little spicy from the Sriracha. The side salad is a nice touch and tasted fresh. We also shared a slice of the blueberry loaf and it was delicious albeit very sweet. Those with a sweet tooth will enjoy. It probably pairs nicely with coffee. The service was very friendly as well."

"We only popped in to get a coffee, first of all the coffee was amazing which is why it is 4 stars. However, we did have to sit outside as the inside seating was full and unfortunately it wasn't the warmest weather. Felt a bit like we were intruding in a local café, everyone looking as we entered. Service was OK, not the warmest, but coffee was served quickly. My partner took back in the tray of empty mugs and apparently got a bizarre look off the servers. I'd stop by again for the coffee though!"
