The food here was exemplary and tasty. The food is cooked by the same chef that cooks for the restaurant and so you know it's going to be excellent and for a more reasonable price too. I would recomend eating here.

Very disappointed. Bought as a birthday gift for afternoon tea fans, they were quite shocked at what was offered, it looked like as they were the only two booked in someone had stopped at GREGS. More like a builders lunch than a posh treat

We ordered the hot BLT sandwich and cheese fries. The sandwich was delicious, loaded with flavorful bacon and crisp lettuce. It was a fantastic lunch choice. The employees were welcoming and attentive, and the restaurant had a clean, peaceful vibe. Speisekarte ansehen

We love this restaurant, the atmosphere is friendly and relaxed, the staff are attentive And the food is excellent. We went last night for my birthday and all thoroughly enjoyed our meals. The chicken breast was super tender and so tasty, hubby and daughter had the trout which they loved. Son in law had the burger which he enjoyed too. Compliments to the chef! We will be back

We had a wonderful evening meal here on Friday night. The restaurant was clean and inviting. Staff were awesome and we felt very well looked after. Food was excellently presented and delicious! The service was very good indeed. The two waitresses were very attentive and explained our menus and we enjoyed pre-dinner home made breads and pre-dessert tears as well. Really good value for the money. We would definitely eat there again.

After a somewhat of a disaster visiting the Marwell Zoo Hotel, we decided to move to the artisan restaurant to reduce the noise levels from the wedding. When the menu arrived we were rather surprised to see the tantalizing flavours described in the menu, the service was personal, welcoming and fun. I ordered a cote du rhone which was unfortunately was out of stock, and was left with limited choices. It is clear the chef has a flair for creativity, and superior delivery of the food. I must say, the food for afternoon tea was quite delicious. The sandwiches were really fresh, the scones were warm and delightful with jam and cream, but the cakes were a bit bland. The young man who served us was very courteous and friendly. However, the restaurant in the hotel was a disappointment. The carpet was stained, the radiators were dirty, there were food crumbs on the floor where we sat, and our table was sticky. We were the only ones in the restaurant, so being busy was not an excuse. It's a shame that I have to warn others to check the cleanliness of the hotel before booking a meal at the restaurant.

I went to this restaurant for dinner, but there was no staff available so only bar food was being served. The menu was limited, so I decided to order fish and chips. While waiting for my food, I saw a couple give up waiting for their children's pizza and another couple receive the wrong meals three times, despite there being only 7 choices on the menu. The next day, breakfast was just as chaotic with tough bacon and overcooked sausages. I had visited this restaurant 10 years ago and it was bad then, but it has somehow gotten even worse. We were staying at the hotel and were short on time so had to eat here but wish we hadn’t! The service, the food and the value for money were all bad enough for me to bother to write a review 4 months later! Firstly, I should say that the restaurant wasn’t busy but our drinks were forgotten and were brought after our mains arrived after we asked for them again. The gentleman who took our order didn’t write anything down and got the wine wrong and didn’t seem at all apologetic. The food is massively over priced, the £15 veggie burger was laughable and the £7 kids pasta was basically tinned tomatoes on fusilli.
